Man I am still using the HTC U12+ in 2020, everything works nice and smooth, mainly i am using the phone for photos and filming with the native software and in some cases with 3rd party software, I have to say that it still has the best quality camera at the moment, i tried to change it because I wanted a wider angle for filming and I tested the iPhone 11 Pro, HUAWEI P40 Pro Plus, HUAWEI P30 Pro, Samsung S20 and Samsung Note 10 but none of them pass the HTC at the image quality, yes in some cases the image was looking arguably better (when looking at them on there own displays) but, when you are comparing the images on a big monitor the HTC has better and more detailed image, also the image stabilization for video is better on those devices but this is not so important for me because am using a gimbal and I am more interested to have a detailed and naturally colored video.
Ok so when u say "transparent" phone, what you meant was a clear see through back that let's you see the guts of the phone. So what are you gonna name your video when you eventually do a video on a phone that's basically a pane of glass? you've already used the word transparent, which to be honest made me wonder about the thumbnail compared to other video thumbnails when searching for 'transparent phones'

I have this device. I like almost everything about this phone, but display could be a bit brighter, and I am so disappointed about sound on earphones. Not shure is this beacuse of earphones or Type C connector, but sound is average loudness on max, compare to my old M8 sound is much better balanced with less distortion in sound while M8 is alot more louder and you can hear that stereo on boom sound mode on earphones. Speakers are great about this phone, quality is great but not the best, and loudness is insane. Build quality is just phenomenal, battery average, charging speed ok for 1 hour and 45 minutes full charge, expendable storage to 2 tera bites, performance insane, screen resolution also insane, camera is tricky, sometimes pictures can be very good if not the best and sometimes can be horrible. That is software optimisation problem with HTC phones for many years, but now it is much better then before. If there are alot of shadows picture will be horrible and oposit. And what is unique about this phone that is edge sense and no buttons press, nice feature but not much to be impressed. My vote is 8.5 out of 10. If this phone could make great sound on earphones and camera bad shadows optimisation and even slightly brighter screen that would be phenomenal device. HTC is my favourite company and I will never forget when I bought my M8 best phone for me. I like audio department and M8 is still king of smartphones in speakers and best phone ever made. I hope they will make another phone like M8 and be proud again!

I'd rather have physical controls directly put on my device then rely on Bluetooth signal when it comes to a gaming phone that's why I was so interested in the Chinese gay phone designers who came up with the snail but unfortunately it's way more complicated to use than I would like but I feel that they do have the right idea in mind when it comes to gaming from design the built-in controllers makes me 100% 11
I really don't know how large the market is for gaming phones but I know someone like me is very interested in us there have been Chinese phones called snail they have come out they have built-in controllers on them I'm more interested in that but doing my research I found out that the phone is way more complicated to use than I would like I would get a snail but it's just too complicated for me i'm currently waiting for an American company to design a gaming phone like this with built-in controllers on it
