Been using this for almost a year now for work. At average of 9-12 hours of daily hospital work/use, I have been using it for document writing, zoom conferences, youtube/storage videos watching, reading journals and books, drawing, playing games, viber and fb message and calls, etc. Because of this I rarely use my phone now, except when commuting and when you need to send a picture copy of documents which this tab is not very good at because of its low res camera. At the end of the day my remaining battery would average to 30-50%. Twice I had to do a 24 hour shift and this tablet would have 10-15% battery afterwards. My only issue for this tablet was when using online gdocs, which after a few hours of use you will notice it slowing down especially if you're using a bluetooth keyboard at the same time. But overall, it is a very important tool for my everyday work use.

First of all, I really liked the Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet. Second of all, I wasn't satisfied because both Google Play Store and YouTube will not work at all. This is why changed the Amazon Fire tablet to an ONN 10.1" Surf Pro tablet.
hi , i do have a hd 8 gen 10, on the box it said include dolby atmos but i can't find anyway to switch it on. and my hdx 7 do support some dolby thing.

Anyone have issues with the audio output via the 3.5mm port? There is a static noise for a few seconds after pausing audio on my device.

My neighbor just got the non plus model and when we bring up YouTube, the videos have no sound. The sound is turned up all the way on the tablet and in settings, the volume bars are all the way up. My neighbor gets sound on other sites but not on YouTube, it worked once but not consistent. Also, when you say Alexa, it makes a quick sound but there seems to be a problem there to.

YouTube refused to give me adequate search results for “current fires in the Amazon 2022” or any variation of it… completely hiding the destruction currently happening because fires are constantly started there to clear land for cattle farming to fuel the fast food industries which rely on United States prison labor to manufacture. Wow, now I'm rethinking about buying this today. The sound was not as good as I expected. The picture is not as good as I would like either. I bought it mainly to watch my shows on and read my books. As for the camera, I've never used it on my tablets yet. Though the price was good. I'm use to using a Samsung tablet. But I keep running out of storage. It was nice to see the olive. That is the color I did decide on.
Does that tablet have Dolby Atmos? And how about the display? Is it good enough for just scrolling fb, ig, and watch youtube?

Hello, I tried to connect the tablet to my smartphone so that I can access the internet outside of my home. I am able to connect through hotspot but says no internet. My phone has internet but when the tablet is connected, I can't get internet. Any help besides restart the tablet or restart your phone would be greatly appreciated.
So speakers are muffled? That's a deal breaker. How about the display as compared to ipad?

Thanks for the review. I own the previous Fire 10. Don't look like there is enough of a reason to buy the new one. Having a brighter screen isn't enough of a reason.
Pointless saying about the 64gb as standard when there's an option to choose from anyway lol. And no point in wanting Google play out of the box Wen it not gonna happen as it's an Amazon product and they not gonna put a rival store on there when they have their own really
