In 2021 you'd imagine someone getting the new iphone but for Christmas my parents have already showed me my present thst they have and they showed me this. iPhone 8 and despite my friends saying that I'm poor I'm extremely grateful to even have a apple product since I've been. Using Android and Microsoft products and iPhones where a child hood dream finally being fulfilled in my freshman year. Agian iPhone 8 inst an old phone it's only 4 yrs old and is still one of the best compact/ performer phones around the world. I'm getting excited to unbox it Infront of them and show my gratefullness

I have this phone today! IN GOLD! The *backglass* shattered the 3rd day of use from a 4-inch drop to a counter but.. otherwise, very fast and still works great.
I like the home button/touch ID for Apple Pay but I've ever used Face ID. All 4.7 inch iphones have terrible battery life. If they had a larger battery people would keep their old phones forever. I just sold an iphone 6S after three years of light use, battery health was still 100% but could barely get through a day if I hardly used it. I wiill say resale value was good. I paid $99 and sold it for $90. I have a six year old Android burner phone with a 5 inch screen that still gets through the day with moderate use. A friend recently gave me a like new 6S Plus which I plan to activate. Battery health is 86%. My only cost of ownership would be $49 if It needs a battery.

During past year finally I returned to Apple ecosystem when I bought my iPhone 8 Plus, and I use it as my main phone for everyday tasks like calls, work, social media, Youtube, music and a bit of (Barely) casual gaming, let me tell you, this phone still feels like a fresh phone. It is quick, handles well multitasking, and feels a bit “premium” everytime I touch it. Also a big thanks to Apple since they continue to support and update this phone for so long. My only concern the is battery life since it goes from 100% to 10% every 24 hours or less, nothing much to do since older iPhones had little batteries.

my dad gave me his cracked iPhone 8, on iOS 13.1.2, and holy fuck its so faster then my iPhone 12 on iOS 16.1.1, might make it my main phone
what are you doing with this video. as a user of an iphone 8- you really shouldn't be recommending this thing to _buy_ as most likely it's gonna be second-hand, with an already degraded battery, being bought by someone expecting *way* more for their value.

Love my ip8 for the size, home button and most importantly it is not impacted my motorcycle handlebar vibrations like the new models are. Also it is very visible in bright sunshine as I use it as my navigation with the Scenic app.
I have owned an 8 plus for about six years I think I paid about $250 then on Amazon, 64 gb...So I guess I a good buy since I could still sale it for same price..
Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 series models will get updated till iOS 16 (which was released in September of 2022). And after that iOS 17 will come in 2023, so Apple will drop both iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus users for iOS 17
I used the iPhone 8 plus for a while as my second phone Berceuse I wanted to know more about iPhones since I work in the IT department of a company that is using iPhones quite often. That phone has 91% battery health the battery life is good enough for people that don't use the phone to often. But I Don't really know if I would recommend the iPhone 8 or 8 plus since it's the oldest iPhone at this moment with still being up to date.
