I've waited a month for this particular version but its still out of stock so i just ordered the 12 gb ram version which will still serve the purpose of gaming i guess... But it doesn't come with the in-box cooler and i can't even buy it separately cause its also out of stock so i just ordered the Black Shark cooler 😁 im tired of waiting

Great review and phone is definitely up to spec with respect to performance. But why spend so much time, energy and money on a phone with a screen so small? Why not use your gaming console to play games? Or a computer to do everything? I'm using a 40 inch TV on my PC right now. You'll all be heading to the eye doctor in 20 years. Sorry, but waste of money, time and eye health. Put the phones down and get out and do some exercise.

Players are the ones who will be seen not harming anyone and they won't be liked. They tried to do something about 2x3 layout, but here it is again. There is that choice, desktop PC or phone - can't have everything at this price. Rog has better grip, but it's nice to have it reaching bottom.

Owned this phone for almost a year. There are some serious negatives: - AMOLED screen and its flickering (with DC dimming there is no flickering but colors are distorted and font fuzzy) - Extremely spotty network connection, both Wi-Fi and 3G/4G. Never had a slower and less responsive internet connection on a phone including (huge) PING time. - The system (Android 11) slows down the phone considerably. It is not particularly more responsive than my 4 year old Zenfone 5/5z. The main camera is decent, but absence of OIS means it sucks at night and on the move. The wide-angle is great though. The sound is amazing and that is the most dramatic feature of this phone. Everything else is pretty average, size cumbersome, inadequate for everyday's use.
I own an rog phone 5 and I can confirm 144hz refresh rate is extremely nice for daily use.
All three pro gaming phones are innovative.
Now with Xbox having cloud gaming, a gaming phone us actually something worth buying now.

Way to waste all those specs on a 1080p screen. Bummer. You get better gaming and visuals out of a Oneplus 9 pro, or a standard Mi 11, 1440p screens, better touch rate AND they're close to the same price.
