But why spend so much time, energy and money on a phone with a screen so small?

Hi I live in the USA and was wondering for the regular rog phone 5 what carriers you recommend and stuff I had a rog phone 5 I sent back cause it was a global rom one and I couldn't get signal most the time and didn't know if it mattered that it was the global one and not the international one or something? Basically ordered it and when I went to use it straight talk wouldn't let me even try to activate it with them so I did the at and t bring your own phone thing and I only got signal in town about 30% the time when I have friends in town on at and t that have signal everywhere . I was led to believe that some versions of the phone work better or pickup more towers in the USA .
yeah i got the same box when i bought it and it doesn’t have the cooler inside of it. Make sure you grab the diamond shaped looking box instead of the rectangular one

ASUS product are so bad, they all need service. Service is so bad, you wish you would have opted for HP, Leno, Dell.
ASUS is not like Apple, where performance is reduced year on year. They go for Shutdown, after the warranty is over.
ASUS Mobile division is however closed, Hope they exit from India completely.

Players are the ones who will be seen not harming anyone and they won't be liked. They tried to do something about 2x3 layout, but here it is again. There is that choice, desktop PC or phone - can't have everything at this price. Rog has better grip, but it's nice to have it reaching bottom.

Owned this phone for almost a year. There are some serious negatives:
- AMOLED screen and its flickering (with DC dimming there is no flickering but colors are distorted and font fuzzy)
- Extremely spotty network connection, both Wi-Fi and 3G/4G. Never had a slower and less responsive internet connection on a phone including (huge) PING time.
- The system (Android 11) slows down the phone considerably. It is not particularly more responsive than my 4 year old Zenfone 5/5z.
The main camera is decent, but absence of OIS means it sucks at night and on the move. The wide-angle is great though.
The sound is amazing and that is the most dramatic feature of this phone.
Everything else is pretty average, size cumbersome, inadequate for everyday's use.
I own an rog phone 5 and I can confirm 144hz refresh rate is extremely nice for daily use.
All three pro gaming phones are innovative.
Now with Xbox having cloud gaming, a gaming phone us actually something worth buying now.
