Hey Will, thanks for your video, love it. I have a question about the throttling app. Do you remember how many threads you had running to get these 3xx GIPS? I am just curious so i can compare your readings to my low budget gaming phone (499 quid for the 12/256 variant of the Poco F4GT) When i set it to 100 threads i get between roughly 350 GIPS at the beginning, when set to 32 threads it starts with 300 GIPS...thanks alot

The reason why they have splash resistant is probably because of me 🤣Water induced damage is not covered by warranty and with such an expensive chipset sitting inside, no reason you're telling me to pay a price more than buying a new phone itself just to fix it. But honestly speaking, it needs to be at least IP67. Just once is enough, my experience with ROG Phone 5S was short lived.
The look of this Asus ROG smartphone is so promising, and I am looking forward to have some great gaming with this Mediatek powered device.

So is the ROG 3 camera better? The bezels are not huge. Just a little bit more pronounced. No problem really. I much much much rather have that than a foolish notch or a punch out in the screen.
It's a deal breaker for me, but I can imagine the price would skyrocket if camera performance were to be compared to a Samsung latest galaxy or latest iPhone. Sexy phone though... Thanks for an awesome review.

Here's my 2cents on Asus phones: AMAZEBAAAAALLS! I've got my ROG 2 phone (12GB RAM, 2.96GHz, 6000 mAh, 512 mb) as soon as it came out in 2019. Before that, I've only used older cheaper 2nd hand phones. My main requirements were long battery life, lots of storage and fast response. These were the things that drove mad before and really created some anger management issues at times, and all of these things are now forgotten! It felt like I've suddenly entered into the future. I've got much much more, than I've initially wanted. 3 years and counting. Not planning to change it anytime soon. Every time I compare it to newest smartphones, the "innovations" are just not worth it yet! So far, only Asus has outdone Asus. Sure, camera isn't great. But for someone who has never used Instagram, only has FB to keep in touch with few people, and generally believes that moments are best kept in memory and not chased with cameras, whatever quality I get is enough for me. And I love the size and heaviness of my ROG 2. Love not having to charge it every day, sometimes even 3-4days. And gaming is as good as PC. This phone slows down only when 3% of battery is left. And still lasts for ~15min with that much, still while gaming! The real minus was the screen. About 1.5years into use I had it cracked on the stairs so bad, it went completely blank. When I tried to repair it, none of the shops had a replacement screen. I had to order it from china (~120euros), wait for about 2 months till it arrived and then had it repaired. Sadly, this summer I've cracked it again, but this time it's only a line of dead pixels, and even then it disappears, if I don't press on the screen to hard. For this beautiful creation a case is A MUST! Honestly, I doubt I'll need another phone for another 3 years. Maybe just change the screen again. That's how great it is! Edit: forgot to mention the lack of bloatware. Looking at you, Samsung.

The thing that kills rog phone for me are all these graphical overlays... It's definitely an emulator powerhouse, and its fun to dock it and pretend like its a computer, but you're paying HUGE money to do something basic and STILL not be able to do things like change your launcher, or use googles desktop app

I really, really want to jump ship and give one of these devices a go but I refuse to compromise.. The bezels look terrible, the device is too thick. Like I've said 7+ times now, maybe the next one.
Mediocre last 2 years and a half //gamming phones have only increased by 20 fps now they ADD latest processor's chip which is 200$ dollar increase just for newest chip WHICH KILLS YOUR BATTERY LIFE QUICK .. .

I couldn't care less about the Cameras or any of the 'Craptacular' Bloatware included with Android Smartphones. I have topend Daily Drivers for everything else. Great Review 👍. But Hmmm maybe I should wait and see what the: ROG 7 Pro is like before buying one.

$1500. lol. for this price u only game. subpar cameras. they made 100 variations of this sht including batman and diablo versions in which they just slapped a sticker on the back. u get the cooler for only the highest priced 2 models so fck the rest, welcome to hot af phones, good luck battery. the cooling hole for 6D was planned since the beginning but didn't make it to less expensive models because f.u. users if u don't shell out 1500. it snaps in 2 easily even in ur pocket, look on reddit. so f off w/ ur praising
The smartphone needs to be regarded widely. The mediatek flagship chipset goes well with the 50MP camera and 6000mAh battery.
