This phone sucks..I've dropped it from 2' above concrete and the screen was fked...it randomly turns off when battery I full an I did not press any buttons..as of right now I have my notifications on vibrate but the phone doesn't vibrate anymore on anything calls texts everything...it glitches when trying to open/close an app an takes numerous times then it just restarts itself

I just ordered my CAT. This is my 4th phone in 6 months. I'm tired of expensive and very delicate iPhones and Samsungs. Yeah....great camera and speed, but means nothing when you're out in the woods or riding in Humwv's. I had LG (with Kevlar back face), Samsung, Sony and iPhone...all broke...we'll see how this works.

Just bought one, I'm not super happy with the phone, for 600 dollars it really could be better, can't handle more than 2 apps running at the same time. Sometimes when someone is calling the phone just freeze, the camera take a few seconds to open. It is a hardy phone? I don't know yet, I had a 1plus 7, that phone was fast, water an dust resistant, after many years of use and abuse finally decided to upgrade, but with the s62 feels actually an downgrade. It is too slow 🦥. Battery is ok. Camera is ok. At this point I do not recommend the phone, again, just bought it, so In a few weeks I could change my mind and give a better review . I been with T-Mobile for a few years, so the coverage is good with the 4 g.

Myth!! I managed to break mine and CAT didn't offer to fix it for free as they would do in normal circumstances. They decided that the damage was beyond normal use. I told them I am an accountant. There is no such thing as unbreakable.

Had it for 6 months then it got run over by a track loader, apparently its not immune to that. IMO it needs a case to protect the screen, regardless of the 'screen protector'.
UPDATE: Phone has crapped out on me. Won't charge, won't turn on. The Flir was great. Not sure about the shock or water proof functions, never tested. Besides that, this is a crap phone. Bad battery, shitty camera, and slow operating system. Waiting to see what Cat will do with what's now a boat anchor.
My current phone is literally bent, all my friends tell me I absolutely need this phone. I had this current phone for about 5 months and the back was already shattered then I bent it at work somehow. So yeah I think I'll end up with a cat phone

I own this phone for 7 months now. I'm a farmer and it works well for me. Flir camera is a very useful tool, once you realise it's potential. For an instance, you can check if an animal has a fever. I have only two gripes. The charging port is not covered. The dirt gets inside and i need to clean it monthly or else it wont charge and a regular camera could be better.

The Flir is great and why I bought the phone but the battery is crap. Lucky if it lasts 10 hours. Pretty sad for a phone that's considered a work phone. Cat told me to shut down some features. I could just shut off the phone and the battery would last forever.

It has a thermal camera, it literally can take pictures in zero light environments
Still tempted to get one, I work in the water Hygiene Industry so the thermal imaging and waterproofing is the selling point for me. Just not sure about downgrading from my ageing P20pro.

I hate how they dont upgrade android. They are still on 11 while 13 is out for a good while now. And it isn't that CAT is releasing a yearly new phone which keeps up with the android versions.

I like the Flir, which is why I bought this phone, but besides being rugged, there's nothing about this phone that stands out. Extremely poor battery life. When I mentioned this to Cat, they suggested I shut off half the features. I could just shut it off and the battery would last forever.

Built in thermal camera still sucks against external capable 30hz 640x480. MWIR would be more advantagious than LWIR spectrum.

I bought the Umidigi and connected it to my desktop but cannot figure out how to transfer files. Computer cannot see the folders on the 256GB internal drive which renders it rather useless. Does anyone know how to transfer files from a desktop to this phone?

Smashed the screen on Blackview BV9100 3 times now. The 13000mh battery is fantastic. With 5% you can watch a full movie, Because the battery is so heavy, and the LCD screen so fragile. It smash when you drop it "the right way". Tempered protecting glass have saved it some times. (than the tempered glass breaks) Looking for a "Heavy doom metal Shock case that can fit. Then I keep it. Some one else who have (found /made a aluminum metal case from" iPhone /Samsung to Blackview BV9100?

Ulefone is beast
NIce review but the Motorola phone isn't one of the best, and other than that I only ever heard of nokia and samsung, which are up for discussion if they are really though. All other brands I've never heard of. Probarbly go for a CAT phone

I have the ulefone armor 9 and I use it really often at work fixing a/c. I love the ruggedness of it and the flir camera those are 10/10 I have dropped it multiple times and it survived like a champ, what I don't like its software wise its like a Chinese android phone, GPS never works, never has updates, folder are messy, you may delete one file and out of nothing its there again and main camera almost never work, if it weren't because of the software this phone will be 10/10 so I gave 6/10
