Best Pixel phone ever made.
Useless phone gimmicks:4k front facing camera, wireless charging,128hz refresh rate, 4k back camera, underscreen fingerprint reader, macro lens,
I finally retired my 2XL last week for the 7 pro. Ran the Pixel Experience rom (Android 12) for a year and I have to say it was fantastic. The rom made the phone even better, with lots more extra settings. I had to give it up because the battery wasn't cutting it. It's as expected after so many years of use. Props to Google for such a fantastic phone.. The front facing speakers were 🔥
This was my kinda regretful purchase i should have went for the 3 or 4 series, but the thing is that this was release the same time with the Iphone x and my Iphone 8 is still working fine with full memory and my 2xl is lagging already even though it has 128gb of storage 🤦
I am still using my 2 XL, but plan to upgrade to Pixel 7 soon (I think Pixel 7 Pro may be too big). Best phone I've ever had too. And no space limitations on Google photos either.
My wife and I have the pixel 2xl. Even gave one to me granddaughter. I have so many photo app versions. It is really crazy the pictures. I have a really nice camera that never leaves its case. The only thing the pixel misses is a better long range. I use it at concerts and have really decent videos. Voice to text is pretty amazing and I still get really crazy battery life. Until this latest update, I never considered moving on. There are a few cool things like the magic eraser i'd like to try out. It would be nice is if you could update the OS. All the versions I've attempted had drawbacks that saddened me to return to the mostly stock Pixel 2XL. Weirdness is that I saw a way to run the newer Pixel Os on the Galaxy 4! I have a Galaxy but just use it as a dash cam thing. Anyway. They are on the market at around $75.00 and that makes a hard sell to upgrade .... Maybe if I brake one?
Great video.
Im considering buying a used one. But at the same time I'm a little bit worried about the software situation.
The 4 GB RAM should be enough to help me edit my videos. I know I can just about to do this with my pixel 3a, but I need more memory hence the 2 XL 128gb model.
But is it going to be ok now that Android 13 is the go for?
Or should I just go for a pixel 4xl?
I had my (panda) 2 XL for about four years and LOVED IT!!! Finally had to upgrade to the Pixel 6 in February after I accidentally shattered the screen. I've been very happy with the 6 so far, now I'm tempted to get the 7 Pro. The camera is definitely my main reason, but the 7 has seemingly perfected everything about the Pixel. Can't say I'd recommend a 2 XL in 2022, but a 5(A) or 6(A) would be a fantastic choice for the price.
this what happens when you first buyout HTC, then later on liquidate them when it comes to phone design and RND
On of the best what LG had to made
Watching this video on my Pixel 2
In my pixel 2xl phone battery drains fastly while using camera any one have this issue please let me know and give suggestion for this 🙏🙏🙏
I have both a 2 XL (my old phone) and a 4a (my current) and while I agree with your assessment about the A series if you're going that stock experience or gaming, it's really hard to match that premium feel and beautiful screen that the XL brings. I'm going to custom rom my XL and try it for a few weeks, I may fall in love with it all over again
I bought a brand new pixel 2 xl in late 2021 and it works like a charm , I am not gaming on it so I couldnt care less about 4gb of ram , it does everything i want it to do and it has 2 front speakers which are awesome for late night netflix in my bed , I simply love it
I still use my Google Pixel 2XL until now because I can take the good photography.
I always wanted this as my first phone back in 2017 but I got a galaxy j3 prime
J'aime votre téléphone sa coûte combien, moi je suis maintenance au Togo, on es ensemble
I'm Very satisfied with this phone ☺️.
My 2 xl has a permanent camera glitch that doesn't allow me to use the front facing camera and only use the selfie camera sometimes, but rare. my flashlight also does not work unless my selfie camera works. Keep in mind I've had the GP2 since the 3s launch.
I still use the pixel 2xl for my second phone. Like it way better than the 3xl and 4xl
It's NOT plastic: "Glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), aluminum/glass back, aluminum frame". It has a matte finish which may make it feel that way but it's not.
Sent from my Motorola Edge S 💚☝️👍🙂😁🖖
Pixel 2 xl or xperia xz3?
Can you unlock the bootloader even with the snapdragon????
Simple Alpaca
Thank you for doing all of these reviews. Ive found them all to be very accurate and your opinion is almost always close to fact.
I just ordered one for 40 dollars. I collect older flagships because they tend to be better than any new budget phone for the price
Very professional take.
U have a good voice. Nice job
bought one new tooday for 210 euros
I want to buy this phone in 2022 what do you think? It worth the 200 €?
I'm thinking of buying a used Pixel 2 XL to tinker with since I'm already tinkering with a regular Pixel 2
You take hundred bucks is a great deal on one of these hounds
While watching the Pixel 6 launch videos, I've seen this video + several other 2021 Pixel 2 XL videos, and boy it justifies my thinking... I really don't want to give up my Pixel 2 XL. Best phone I've ever owned, and will continue to own, unless the full Pixel 6 Pro reviews really blow me out of the water.
Dude. Don't mislead people, this phone does NOT have a headphone jack, when I got mine in 2019 I made that same mistake! Don't get me wrong photos and everything look phenomenal but this does NOT have a headphone jack OR sd card storage, be aware folks
Am so glad am getting this Google pixel 2 XL phone for FREE thanks to the government EBB program, one time use only.
Can't screen shot with one button, hate this phone, didn't know can't use headphones....feel cheated by Verison
I've thrown this thing on my bed it bounces into the stratosphere and back and hasn't had a crack.
Edit: nevermind
It's almost perfect except for the battery, dammit.
Barley bought one like a week ago garbage and trash screen freezes lags slow phone keyboard is slow typing as well glitches and bugs happen and crashes and black out probably my phone yea I hate it
Screen on time?
This guy is the lemon.... You Keep Using That Word, I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means
I do like to squeeze the pixel 2 and pixel 2 xl to activate my assistant
best 40 dollar phone.
nice hair nerd
I miss this old style of ltt video so much. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not sure what, but something so ungodly valuable has been lost about the way ltt goes about videos in these last few short years
Been using it since this review came out. Still one of the best phones out there. And no, it doesn't stutter.
3:26 ,, HElp !!!! how did you get the back button on the right side ?? plsss.
My s7 died the other day so got a pixel 2 for £140, seemed a bargain to me
God Linus looks so much better with the 2021 beard
Can we agree that the original pixels design on the back looks like GARBAGE.
I still use Pixel 2XL and it's perfect. No need to upgrade any time soon.
Pixel 4 is lacking the fingerprint reader.
Pixel 5 has a hole punch.
Maybe Pixel 6 will be my next phone.
Coming back here in 2020 to remember when new Google phones were exciting
didn't know Linus uses nail polish, these days. 3:22
Ok google.. dick
Still just fine in 2020
my pixel 2 died after 3 years and I upgraded to pixel 4 xl and I miss my pixel 2 that's why I'm watching this in 2020 men
Pixel 2 and Pixel 4a is the best Google has offered yet. Hopefully Pixel 5 will be another one of the greats
8:58 can't believe nobody made this a meme yet
Linus: "OK google"
My google assistant: *opens and lags like a mf on my galaxy j3 star*
i miss Max cameos
I really REALLY love the two-tone white and black panda-like color on the Pixel 2, so fantastic looking!
Watching this review on my Pixel 7 😎
Here I am watching this on a Pixel 7 and loving it
Its not worth using pixel 2 in 2022 if you want to use retro tech I have it and the camera isn't great don't know why people still say it holds up til this day it's also laggy with everything fully updated. Pixel 4 and above are the ones to use for 2022 and beyond if you like older gadgets.
idk why i'm deciding to watch a pixel 2 review on a pixel 7
This was the pinnacle of a review a phone can get, I still think it is. Although I was watching Marques from a really long time but this was the video that made me realise how good this guy is in this industry.
Are all these features on the Pixel 2 XL?
Watching this in 2022 and owning a Pixel 7; I feel like this is a phone I could pick up today and it would do almost everything I'd want from it. I don't know if that means smartphone tech has stagnated or if phones like the pixel and iphone just got it so right years ago and there's not much left to do. There was a time, in terms of home computers, that if you tried to use one that was 5 years older than what you had, it'd be basically impossible. The Intel Pentium replaced the 486 in less time.
I had a Pixel 2XL for about a year, and while I loved the software, I hated the screen quality. I noticed the color shift at even the slightest off-angle viewing. It actually turned me off to Pixel phones until I decided to jump on the 7, and I'm glad I did.
pixel 7 is out now and i'm still watching a man reviews a pixel 2
About to get my Pixel 7 Pro arrive tomorrow and I'm watching Marques review the Pixel 2 XD
Pixel 7 and it's Pro are out and I'm still watching a review from Pixel 2 and it's XL!
It is SO funny, so interesting to see that we loved phones that weren‘t that advanced as they are now
They were great at their time - why aren‘t they today?
Pixel 7 is one month from release and I’m watching a video on the pixel 2.
Pixel 6 is out too
Pixel 6 pro has come out and am still watching pixel 2 review
I miss this phone. It was the closest thing to get me out of the Apple ecosystem. Sadly, nothing has done the job since.
which is the best?
Now in 2022 we have the Pixel 6 6pro and 6a
It is stressing me out that they are almost the same size 😂
This is not worth your money and time. You can't save your contacts on your sim card, there's no music player, there's no voice recorder, you have to download that from the app store and they'll steal your information 100%. You can't also use analog usb ports (like the rest of the world) google specifically want you to buy their overpriced garbage. Avoid like the plague.
Is this pixel 2 or 3 or 2xl🙄 seriously 🤔
