❤
Dude you are so full of shit your own video when you had it next to the iPhone 13 the pixel was streaming better your own video saw that so stop talking dog shit you fucking iPhone lover
IMX363 is the camera king once again!
I didn't notice this the first time I watched the video but there were 6 Android mini figures chillin in the background. (Pixel 6a.....makes sense) Maybe he should do something fun like ask the viewers how many Android figures or some other related background pieces were in the video. That would be a fun way to show who really watched the video and maybe he can have fun with it by hiding them. Also should we nudge Google to release new Android minis? With all of this theming through material you maybe that could inspire new designs... Thoughts?
Blind smartphone awards sent me here.
you're being way too harsh. you should think about it through the perspective of an average consumer. i never noticed the screen being choppier and in some cases found it smoother than the other phones ove had. most people don't really mind not having wireless charging, also the phones with a similar price aren't on a lot of companies contract offers
how many hours will an amoled screen last after which time it burns out
I got 6a for 27000k rupees or $350. It's a steal deal.
I got one
great review. my main concern on a phone is the camera, but do not want to spend a ton of money on current flagship phones. This is a great option
I've had the Pixel 6a for about two weeks. I love the form factor. Coming from a Galaxy S10e, I really appreciate the slightly bigger screen; not really wider, just taller, and the more square corners. The thing that bugs me the most is how washed out the display looks compared to the S10e. And it is true what was said about the rainbowing effect when you look at it off center. I also have to push the brightness close to the max in order to have a usable screen. The pure Android experience is hard to beat though and features like call screening are pretty useful. I'm not 100% sure I'm going to keep it. I'm entertaining the idea of trying the S21 FE mainly because of the display and oddly enough, some things are more customizable on Samsung's UI.
The main thing that worries me is the difference with the 90 hz screen. I don't want my phone to annoy me after my OnePlus 9RT. Some people don't see much difference, but I lowered the frequency to 60 hz on 9RT and it's not smooth at all.
being an iphone is not a feature... how is this guy so popular it just boggles my mind...
Is this a re-upload? Didn't this phone come out in 21? Anyway the pixel 7 is out obviously and this one is currently 299 on Amazon and the Google store
I dont understand why wireless charging is so important for some of you guys
Seems like this upgrade is for the people that have a pixel 4 and don't want the horrible fringing "bocca" effect of the newer phones
Top end flagships have nothing on phones like this, which is why they shouldn't be a benchmark for all phones. If you're going to review a mid range phone, get a benchmark for mid range phones. Don't use flagships as a general benchmark since not all phones were made to be as powerful as the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This Google Pixel 6a is a mid range phone. And so, comparing it to the iPhone 14 Pro Max would be extremely unfair. This move also makes the product seem not as good as it really is. 60Hz displays are everywhere, everyone probably has one. And still, they don't give these displays a chance. The Samsung Galaxy S10e that I'm using now, I want to replace with a Google Pixel 6a because of extremely poor battery performance. Like, I'm talking 2,237 mAh bad. And oh boy, 4000 mAh would be a dream for me. But, reviews of this phone give the impression that a Samsung M series phone would be better. Which is not true at all. Keep in mind, not everyone can buy a phone with a 120Hz display with a 5000 mAh cell with the latest and best chip in the market. If anything, if you're just an average user, you won't even notice how choppy it is. This also makes the act kind of an ad as reviewers would say "This phone isn't as good as the Samsung S22 Ultra, so it'd be worth saving a few hundred dollars and buying that one." which while is technically true, for someone like me who needs a new phone ASAP, I don't have many months and pounds to spare. In fact, I'd say this is the best mid range I've seen since really, the only thing you're sacrificing is the material. Which, if you handle properly, will not be a major problem. So, I do think that other reviewers should take another look at mid rangers with the mindset that this is a phone made for the average user so that these phones would really have a chance to shine amongst other flagships.
I'm on a budget for a new phone and i really needed this, im at a crossroads for a Samsung S21 FE, Iphone 11 and Google pixel 6a
BIAS
Well hello there! Thanks for watching, I've been using the Pixel 6a for a few more days now and can confirm it does get quite toasty at times, but the battery life is still dependable - full in-depth review coming shortly! In the meantime my Pixel 6a camera review just went live, and my Pixel 6a vs 6 vs 6 Pro comparison is hitting shortly after, if you can't get enough Pixel in your life ;)
I'm still rockin Iphone 5se.. and after 5 years of use seems that it is close to dying so pixel 6a seems like a decent replacement.. the only thing that scares me is the 6.1inch size.. but anything else under 6 inch display without a huge price tag still available?
Bought one for mom she had a LG30 for three yrs maybe longer... Hope she'll like it
Is the pixel 6a worth getting
That's what I'm getting tomorrow can't wait plus I've got ear buds so no headphone jack dosent bother me
Google wants to make your phone private but uses your info for Google search idk if I trust them that much lol
I prefer smaller phones and with a pixel 7 pro it's huge in my hand lol. Need to get used to it.
I'd bought a refurbished pixel 3a xl.. so that's that
Pixel 6EH is an awesome deal
Wish I'd kept my 4a 5G
How many years of Android Updates will it receive ?
Was offered a very good price for a 6a in EE today, is it any better than my long standing blower, the P30 Pro?
I received mine yesterday, I got it for an amazing half price. But being a Samsung user for the past 4 years, I'm not that impressed so far. The camera seems wishy-washy and I hate the Google bar which you cannot remove from the screen. Also when I move the apps into a nice neat folder, they still remain individual when I scroll up, meaning I end up with double the apps....to me that's a messy look. So the question is, should I live with it for the £191 I paid for it brand new or do I send it back?
Yo what is the point in 5yrs security updates when their phones got built in backdoors.......
This guy would drive a Kia.
you lost me at 60 hertz
As a true follower please advise if you would get this as an upgrade from OnePlus 8 t ? Cheers
One things nobody talk in review. It's a good phone with a big lack for dual sim phone.
If you have a personnal and bussiness lines, go with an other brand, Google didn't have dual ringtone option.
For me it's the reason why I will keep Samsung or Xiaomi.
Two things this world needs more of:
1. Cowbell
2. Random car references
Dude, your phone's wallpaper is very distrubing...
Super medam
Fingerprint sensor works only some of the time. Bluetooth loses connection to some devices. I'm beginning to hate the phone. Loved my 3a xl. Should have kept it.
I’d rather have a 60 hertz display with a flagship chip than a 120 hertz display with the a53 that has a garbage processor that isn’t equipped to handle it. I swear people obsess over all the wrong things like high refresh rate, 4k video and a glass back. None of that matters if the battery is trash, calls suck or it lags so much it’s practically unusable. I also found on the 6a, I get 6 hours or so of screen on time. I’m guessing the a53 would be lucky to get 4-5 hours of screen on time. When you are comparing the 6a to the a53 it isn’t a competition, the 6a blows the a53 out of the water.
Yikes-!!! You said there at the end, "...and, I'll see you here next time", ...does that mean you're 'seeing me NOW(?)', ...better cover my webcam here on my laptop; 😬
I picked one up today when I noticed Google had it on sale for $299. From the sound of it, it's well worth the upgrade from my 4a.
Got it for 330$. Not a bad phone.
And as predicted. The 6a is $299 through Google and Amazon. Love it.
6a look way better than the 6 in pictures. Returned my pixel 6 for the 6a and so much happier with the phone.
I ordered the Pixel 6a from Consumer Cellular for $249
I keep the slider on my pixel 6 at max brightness all the time, it's practically unusable in bright lighting conditions . Pixel displays aren't great when it comes to brightness nits
She sounds like a robot and must've said google pixel 6a 50X in this video.

Who are these new people. What’s happened to our favorites??
Copped one for $350! 😁
Her hair color is distracting me
i still have a Pixel 1 5 hr max charge, if not using. TIME TO UPGRADE ! the 6a looks like a great bargain. I take some photos, i dont record videos. i dont use many apps. i dont need alot of storage. looks to be a good size, not too big like the 6 pro. I'm interested in the 7, but i need a new phone NOW
$150 more and you get a pixel 6 so....
1. pixel 6a having unreliable fingerprint scanner, even unregistered thumb also can unlock the device, what a pretty security by google
2. Heating issues even in normal use
3. Over priced in india
4. Worst maintenance by google in india
*Guest what??*
I received my Pixel 6a yesterday, and I just learned the 6a is *NOT SUPPORTED* by Cricket Wireless (an AT&T company), and the 6a is *NOT SUPPORTED* by Mint Mobile!!
I moved my Cricket Wireless SIM chip from a Pixel 4a to the new Pixel 6a, and the 6a BRICKED the SIM instantly, and the chip had to be replaced. The 6a SIM changeover also caused my Cricket account to be suspended for several hours.
Google Store is 100% aware of this issue and does not care. Google tried to get me to switch from Cricket to a much higher-priced Google Fi to solve the problem.
Google emailed an RMA, and my new 6a is going back tomorrow.
*A BIG disappointment.*

Too bad Google Pixels don't have *notification LEDs.* They're very useful.
Getting this phone in white for christmas, looking forward to it! looks pretty good to me!
You think an update could have helped the overheating? I haven't had mine get hit at all. Barely warm even while charging and streaming YouTube while scrolling IG.
I went with the 6a and love it. I don't like small phones, so I was worried at first. But it's really not small. It's just not big. Would love 2 hear opinions. 👍🏼
I think for the price, Google have a very compelling device. Most people that I know, still aren't even using devices using higher refresh rate screens. So for them? They aren't going to notice the difference with something like this. As far as using gorilla glass 3? Honestly I see that as a benefit, as the new victus glass is way prone to scratching compared with older versions.
Never use digital zoom. If you want to 'zoom' in, do it in a editor.
Buddy says that I can 'see' that the pixel has accurate colour production. Since I am looking at a video of screen on YT using a monitor, not my eyes, I can 'see' no such thing. I am expecting him to let me 'hear' how good the sound is next, another invalid test. I think I am done with this guy now.
Aluminum is now a 'luxury metal' only to be used on the most expensive phones. Thanks Steve. For nothing.
My five year old Sony Xperia XA2 H3123 64GB has Gorilla glass 4 ffs.
That and memory card slot.
My battery lasts for 3 days too.
It also has a higher dpi.
As for design, the all look the same to me. "It's rectangle. Get over yourselves."
"Really hot" is an utterly meaningless subjective term. Give us a number.
Free on port to Verizon, plus a 50% discount on Pixel A bud's bringing them to $50. No activation fee if done online. $90 bucks with tax out the door to start a new eco system is unbeatable.
Consumer Cellular had it on sale for a limited time for $249 so I picked one up I love this phone
60 to 65 percent by 1pm 😱 1st world problems right there.
I hear that headphone jack aside This is a substantial step up from a pixel 4a. That includes battery capacity All things being equal. If that is the case then that will serve me well to go with a pixel 6A to replace my compromised pixel 4a

Funny how 60hz refresh is never an issue on iPhone reviews. Utter bs loll
Samsung can offer better screens because they make the screens so cost is at a minimum. Google has to pay a markup to buy there screens from Samsung or LG so it cost more to offer a better screen in there phones. Also each brand has there profit margins they must meet and each brand has a different standard.
The phone heats up from charging to using any app.
Who the hell plays video games on a phone? We adults have home theaters with HTPC's to run them. This guy must be 15 year old. lmao The phone runs fine no complaints....
Too many problems with this thing. Dumped it for a A53 Samsung
I'm watching this on Pixel 3. Still the best phone ever.
