How are contacts stored and called up? I would like to know if calling up contacts on this particular phone is easy for an elderly person.

Good video but a section on the very basic steps to do simple things such as answering a call would be helpful. My Dad, who has just turned 88 and is technology-challenged would appreciate it. I know that info is in the manual but a video would be great too.

Jitterbug is a SCAM, I looked it up on the BETTER BUSINEDD BUREAU hotline. Bad reviews. Hidden charges, 10 cents a text, rude support help, hard to cancel when you realize you are being screwed. Don't fall for this scam. They don't tell you until after you sign up. Your first bill will have all kinds of hidden charges. BEWARE of JITTERBUG SCAM. You fools who sign up will regret it fast.

How do you text on the Jitterbug Flip 2 phone? Any chance a full keyboard appears on the screen instead of the phone pad that takes extra work? My Mom is 98 and computer savvy but texting on her current phone is next to impossible and wanted something that is more user friendly. I used a smartphone for 4 months. Decided I liked living for the moment, more than listening to my smartphone having a temper tandrum, because I haven't touched it for 5 minutes. cingular flip IV doesn't let you enable tethering, it's in the menus but disabled (firmware shenanigans) I HATE DRM and I LOATHE companies that pull this shit. Before anyone asks yes my AT&T plan includes tethering and mobile data, I got an Alcatel Axel and it tethers just fine. If it weren't for this sheisty show-stopper I would have been a permanent dumbphone user - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED AT&T

Thank you for your nicely done video. I was pleasantly surprised that the phone has wifi and can act as a hotspot! This is perfect, I have a simple phone yet I can tether my iPad for tasks.
Not everyone who wants a flip phone is old. Some just want to back off on tech or find the same old slab phones boring.
My uncle has this flip phone. He's been using flip phones ever since he first used a cell phone. Lol.. I must admit it does feel a little cheesy and cheap. But over all it's a nice decent phone and it performs pretty well for what it is!

I totally agree with last post! This flip phone is perfect for someone who just needs a cell phone for making/receiving calls and texts. I purchased this phone for a 72 yo family member who is severely hard of hearing (seriously deaf) and the audio quality is awesome he has no problem hearing whoever he is talking to on this phone. Also the size of the buttons are perfect for larger fingers. Price point wise, yes this phone is cheap but as far as quality etc... Great flip phone.
