Does the phone have any text assistance, like being able to use voice for texting? Just trying to find a way to help with composing a text rather than having to press a particular key multiple times to get the desired letter. I need a phone for my senior mom who can no longer use her LG 840G because of the 3G shutdown. She loved using that phone and has a difficult time with making any type of change. This phone is complete garbage. I have had it for about 2 weeks and regret buying it. Do not waste your money on this crap. The music player sucks. The texting with R9 sucks. Jethro's previous models worked better.

Maybe they're using an outdated version of AOSP Messages.

I got rid of my so-called smart phone because I spend so much time on my computer for work during the day the last thing I want to do is transfer my attention to another addicting device. I just have a tracfone My flip which is OK and cheap but I never use the internet just text. I rarely even talk on it since I'm in my home office all day and have a business phone. I like the design of this phone but it looks like you need both hands to do just about everything on it. Could you do a step-by-step video on using it? I might be interested in getting one.
