I thought the LG V10 only had that prototype Dynamic Island thing, turns out the LG V20 also had that. This makes the Honor V20 the third phone to have that concept.

Looking at getting this phone now (in 2022) used and as a dedicated HD music player. It's Quad DAC (ESS Sabre ES9218) is acknowledged to rival lower tier HD music player. Plug in your MicroSD card full of music files, install Neutron MP (a premier HD player), possibly install some streaming, internet radio and podcast apps and you've a one stop portal for all your audio needs.
I still use my LG G4. Killer phone and better camera and speaker than 99% of current flagship phones in 2022.
I loved LG and am sorry they are no longer in the mobile phone business. Their devices were unique, from the Quad Dac audio to the little leather jacket they put on some versions of the G4 to the manual camera modes. I still have my V20 which has found new life as a replacement for the TV remote my sister list when she moved. I liked how LG took risks and were innovative with their devices. RIP LG.
A friend just dropped their phone...$1000 dollar phone (IPhone) & destroyed the screen, still wanted to throw me $400 bucks for tossing her this 2016/17 LG V20 as a quick replacement...said she'll never "dog" Androids again & finds the phone very user friendly & thinks she may get a newer Android phone instead of going Apple again. Too bad she can't get another Flagship LG phone...they decided to bow out of the market because it's just too saturated. Chip shortage doesn't help either, costs are up for everyone atm. Gave her the phone for free & just said glad to help, Apple was giving her issues about replacing the phone & her livelihood depended on it.
Just bought two new OEM batteries for less than 20 bucks. Gonna keep using the v20 until I cant anymore. External battery charger so i always have a fully charged battery to swap in. Also 2tb sd card is godly.
Just looked on offer up & found one that just popped up for $50, phone just broke & right now I'm lookin for a temporary phone until I can find something better. This video definitely made up my mind on whether or not to buy the phone...no doubt seems like a great phone for $50. Thank you for making this, I really appreciate it. 🙏👍

The more I use it the more I enjoy its features.. Replaced the battery 2 times already, the screen once (the original one had ghosting), and more recently upgraded the mobo to a dual sim. A 10Kwh pack battery make it last 3 days without charge. As an audiophile with a sweet iem pairing it makes flac and video watching a blast. I had to un-root the device because for some reason it was buggy but I miss that.
I still own this phone and I love it.
I just stopped using mine. Easily the best value phone I have ever owned. Almost five solid years of service.

I had my doubts that only with 100-300$ very high impedance headphone will I get a difference!! Just a quick question to sum it up..with a fairly cheap SONY XB55 AP in ear headphone according to you I will indeed get a better audio output plugged to a V20 compared to say Mobiles like S7,MotoX etc..?Or will it sound the same And also does the V20 contain a Better AMPLIFIER Hardware(Dedicated AMP) compared to other mobiles ?

Hello Lisa ,                       I've heard many complain regarding the Boot Looping of LG Phones ; does V20 Boot Loop after a period of time too ? I'm planning to get one and  after reading many reviews online about the issue , I'm quite skeptic about it .                                                                                                       Could you please confirm if this issue still persists with the new so called flagship phone ( V20 ) too ? Considering the fact the this is the only Phablet available right now with the Quad-DAC and IR Blaster and a good overall build quality ; all the bells & whistles maybe  useless if the phone's going to die in no time . Any idea about the V30 launch date ?

Man I'm telling you I was going to get the S7 edge but honestly this is the best phone yes the edge beautiful but this phone is worth the investment
