I have this phone it's the best for the price

i had a 5g stylus and i was unhappy with a few things. I went and checked out the g stylus that was released before it and i was impressed, it feels WAY more premium than the stylus 5 g does so i got it and i dont regreat it. Every aspect feels superiors even tho the stylug 5g is supposed to be an upgrade. Also, the g stylus has a superior camera even tho its got 1 less lens, that kinda took my by surprise.
Can you get Whatsapp on this phone?
You might want to mention that Motorola, having been bought by Lenovo, is being killed off for most if not all levels of phones in the next year or so. This is why buying these new mid level phones should be considered clearance and good luck with support and upgrading.

The only downside in my opinion is the battery life. Other than that this phone rocks!
I will never get a moto phone again it keeps wanting to update and takes too long to restart so never again.
Don't like this phone don't buy this phone if you don't like having constant upgrades the Bluetooth shuts on and off by itself constantly they tried to make the phone better by getting rid of the on box but it makes it a real pain in the ass if you want to switch back and forth from apps because you have to completely log out of something before you can go back to it which makes it a pain in the butt if you're trying to find something or if you're on the line with somebody trying to get help and you can't get back to the page without closing the existing page that you're on and this phone is driving me nuts even while I'm hooked up to a wireless network the phone will turn on and off by itself apps will open up and close by themselves this phone is garbage do not buy it

I hate the camera and that automatic sound adjustability I turn that thing off several times it jumps right back on

I think if I get this phone from metropcs I'm gonna stay on 4g it seems like with 4g the battery life gets like 2 or 3 days but with 5g not getting the sane battery life as on 4g

they can actually be boosted to 7.5gb of ram through performance mode but i have a unlocked version not sure if carriers models can do it or not

Oneplus Nord N20 5G, also free for me, 6 gb ram, 128 gb memory, 4500 battery, 512 gb expandable, amoled display. I am hoping replaceable batteries come back in 2 years, see EU battery ruling for 2024.
I got the MetroPCS one ,I got it from eBay used ,it's working very good ,a friend of mine has that problem with it's battery drains to fast ,I guess it has to do with some 5 g antenas he's area is on bad range of signal of 5g cause it improves while he's at different areas, but yes I heard about people that have that problem,I dont have problem with mine ,thanks God .

Apparently a lot of people don't realize that the faster the speed their phone is using the more energy it will need to do so. I've always kept my phones at the lowest speed setting and have never had any issues. I'm currently using my second Motorola, the 2020 G Stylus. My G Power has a bigger battery but the stylus is the same as my LG Stylo 4+. I missed using the LG and that is why I got the G Stylus. My fingers are not as nimble as they were when I was young and the stylus comes in real handy. To me it seems the more a smartphone costs the less features it has that I'm interested in. I'm thinking my next phone will be another Samsung since I don't know of another brand except LG that has home screen looping built in. I've used HTC, Umidigi along Motorola and had to install Microsoft Launcher or Nova Launcher in order to get the home screens to loop.
Battery life has been great for me, only time it drains more is when I'm using mobile hotspot and that's expected..
Turn off mobile and just use wifi to see if that's the problem

Does this have USB type-c video out or extended monitor I know Samsung does it and LG used to do it but that's all I really care about cuz I use my phone on my touch screen monitor

My man... phones nowadays cost 700USD when they come out. Here we have an affordable phone that looks good. I don't think they went for "features" but for affordability.
I truely believe that the previous motorola stylus is the inspiration behind the "Center Stage" of iPhone, and the "Stylus pen" in S22 ultra. Also the touch fingerprint home button at the side, with that scrolling function. They're deveopers are the pioneer of almost everything, but I'm just sad they are not making any high end phone, leaving the credits to iPhone and Samsung. Why do they stick on budget phones that aren't even worth-it :3

You know I guess to each his own the only thing that I have noticed between this stylist and the first one is that the first one was a lot louder the speakers are really really good but other than that this is a far better phone than than the first stylist and the first stylist but I mean I just got the stuff and I've been using it and I really like it I don't find any negatives to it it's a really fast phone that won't camera works really good it has NFC which I thought it wouldn't have it has a good amount of memory like I said it does work quick you know everything seems to be working fine I don't know what's this guys deal with this phone but even the facial recognition to unlock the phone works super fast faster than my Apple phone so you know I got this phone for free from MetroPCS and I am definitely not complaining
If OS updates are a problem, just install a custom ROM. Simple. I know that sounds a bit odd saying it, but don't expect a phone with a low price have good quality software and hardware. After all it's a budget friendly midrange phone and for the price it is, I feel that you are getting more than what you paid for because of the headphone jack in which that's necessary and the SD slot too.

They downgraded the SoC to a mediatek processor from the upgraded 2021's snapdragon SoC ..
Typing this on a 2022 stylus. The camera is literally so fucking shitty compared to my pixel 3a xl (currently broken) that I am halfway considering returning this thing because of it
Hi I own the 2020 version of this phone. And only just recently upgraded to the 2022 version. I do notice quicker app switching due to the 2 extra GB of RAM, but I honestly hate the feel of tall display with the width now shrinking. Also the sound sucks, no other way to say it. I bought this phone reduced for Prime day this October, so at least I didn't pay full price. I should of gotten the OnePlus Nord which was also on sale, but I am so familiar with the Moto apps that I figured I would stay on board with Motorola. One more thing...where the heck is Android 12? This has the same OS as my older two year old phone Android 11.... Shame on you Motorola... Good review btw.
