REVIEW: Motorola Razr - Now Budget Foldable Smartphone 2 Years Later? ($200) - Worth It?
Foldable Moto RAZR Unboxing & Second Thoughts!
Motorola Razr (2019) | One week later...
Motorola Razr 2019 in 2022 review.
Forget Motorola, foldable or Not Customer services is PATHETIC if you want New Battery or Any other Vital Device Need ".. Apple or Samsung 🔫
Foldable is affordable
How are you able to add apps to your external screen??? I can't at all!
Hi loved this video but I have a question where are you buying this for new for $200 please tell me I want to buy 3 now. Not being a prick I'm serious
Too bad Apple dumped Motorola… It would be really cool if they would collaborate on a razor
Great looking phone . But battery is under 3000ma this is unacceptable. Glad I chose the z flip 3 instead .
I just ordered one of these. Glad i found your video. I love folding devices. I have a fold 3 and get a razr will be awesome. Been interested in this phone since it released
Does anyone know if the Chinese version will work in the USA?
The "Hello Moto" sound is not way I was expecting 🤣
I have one of these good ole Razrs in a drawer. I went to power it up, and it fired up on . Has a replaceable battery and fit well in your pocket and was solid. Withba case you can drop it and it still works.
is the moto company signing on a deal with infinity blade coming back as a game or maybe digimon or nexomon or music mixing apps which are free without paying 60 a year or garage band or kareoke singing stuff or masked singer game or maybe jurassic games or navy games does it have same features as iphone shops or maybe other stuff
Here's another example where DESIGN seems to help people remember that particular phone more fondly... iPhone 6S vs. SE1. Same A9 SoC. Both have headphone jack. SE had the first gen Touch ID, same 1.2 MP front camera as the 5S, and weaker aluminum series. The SE is still remembered more fondly for some reason. Its design and size helps. Going to the 6/6S size takes a lot of adjustment time for folks so used to the 4/4S/5/5S/SE1 size. Took me a year to adjust using M7 coming from iPhone 4 and Nexus One. The iPhone 6-series did not have a popular design while the 5-series remains the most popular according to polls. The last Steve Jobs had input with was with the iPhone 5 design. We still got a metal back while the 8/X-series became all-glass. I would look at my space gray iPhone SE from time to time without a case and think, "Damn! Why have iPhones become uglier over the years?" And iPhones felt way better in one-hand or a shallow pocket a decade ago. My top 5 favorite phone designs ever... Apple iPhone 5/5S/SE Google Nexus One HTC One M7 Apple iPhone 4/4S Motorola Razr 4G/5G (2019/2020) Honorable mentions: 🐼 Google Pixel 2 XL, Google Nexus 4, BlackBerry Bold 9900, Nokia N9/Lumia 800, Nokia N8, and Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. Til this day, my BlackBerry Bold 9900 is still one of the best phones to hold with one-hand. I can understand Kim Kardashian using the Bold 9900 for 5 years and getting them off eBay! I will always prefer the M7's size and design over the M8's even though the M7 gave me more problems like shorter battery life, overheating, no expandable storage, and purple/pink photos in low-light. Something about that glacial silver M7 that the M8 in any color never did for me. The M8 was also much taller and heavier. M7 has a special place in my heart for just looking nicer and feeling smaller. I think this Razr 3 or 2022 (whatever they call it) is going to make the necessary improvements over the Razr 5G released 2 years ago. But that's expected. The question is will you remember it as fondly as the Razr 5G you used? The Flip 4 looks like an improvement over the Flip 3 especially with battery capacity, but the differences aren't all that memorable to make you enjoy the Flip 4 that much more. And design seems to be the most important especially with the RAZR which was marketed originally as a fashion phone in late-2004. I used an iPhone 12 mini last year and while it's better than SE1, I still preferred using my SE1. Sold 12 mini after 4 months. SE1 has headphone jack, smaller, lighter, nicer design, and my huge preference of Touch ID over Face ID. The SE1 as outdated as it is, is still the GOAT iPhone I've ever owned.

*Razr* *5G* *>* *Flip* *3?* For nearly a year, I've been using Razr 5G next to Flip 3 and I'm coming to this conclusion that I prefer my Razr 5G over Flip 3 for a few key reasons. - Bigger cover display - Better design - Rarer to own - Mine has double storage - Got it $400 cheaper - Less crease The Flip is the BETTER device, don't get me wrong. Has flagship specs with features like wireless charging the Razr 5G lacks. Has Flex mode which is great for watching content. Better cameras. As an overall device, I prefer it more. But as a smartphone, I prefer the weaker Razr 5G for some reason. I prefer being seen with it. I'm coming to realize that I really don't need all that horsepower on a phone. I don't need the best cameras because I rarely take photos. I prefer movies and TV shows over video games, and the Razr holds my 100 favorite movies. You know which phone is becoming my 2nd favorite phone of all-time? The iPhone SE (2016). Give me a small phone with headphone jack and I'm happy. I take 4-mile walks each day and I hate AirPods. Always disconnects each time. Kills battery life at least 3x faster than wired ones. I need to worry having another device losing a charge. That's why my iPhone SE became my iPod touch while carrying my Razr 5G. The Flip 3 lacks headphone jack and is too thick and heavy as a backup. My New Top 5? 1. Motorola Razr 5G (2020) 2. Apple iPhone SE (2016) 3. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 (2021) 4. Google Pixel 3 (2018) 5. Essential PH-1 (2017) The Flip 3 and Pixel 3 are the better duo than Razr 5G and iPhone SE. Better specs, cameras, and wireless charging. The SE's battery life is downright atrocious. But here I am now preferring the weaker devices because I just prefer using them more. I'm also preferring to just be content with what I already have and NOT buy more stuff that I feel is just overkill and don't need. Listen to Ashton Womack. Sometimes I think I should've never bought the Flip 3. I mean, I still love the device. It became my retro gaming emulation device. Got me back into gaming and playing my old favs. Has all 20 of my favorite video games up to Dreamcast/PlayStation 2/GameCube levels. I would never sell it because I prefer gaming on it than my PS Vita slim. But I do think I wasted $400 more on a backup phone I don't really use. I'm making the prediction now that Michael Fisher (AKA Mr. Mobile) in 5 years will say his favorite foldable flip phone design is still the Razr 5G. Cameras right in the middle. More symmetrical. It's the last to look like a RAZR with the iconic chin. The Razr 2022 looks like a Flip 3 clone with a bigger cover display. It's how I feel about HTC One M7 vs. M8. The M8 was the better device. But the M7, while being weaker internally, was just more memorable to me. I've used many, many phones over the last 23 years. For some reason, it always comes down to the DESIGN for us to remember those phones more fondly. My black RAZR V3 wasn't that much different from my Motorola V600. But since the RAZR was much thinner and better-looking, it's remembered more fondly. The Saturn, Dreamcast, PSP, and Vita wouldn't be remembered as fondly if their designs were poor. Long live the Razr 5G (2020)! And this is with all the flaws like that Snap765G, slowdowns, dim display in direct sunlight, poor and slow camera in the dark, and creaky sound when opening or closing. I've came to accept all its flaws. I didn't even get the color I wanted and I still think it looks better than my black Flip 3. The Flip 3 is easier to hold without a case. Rounder sides. But the Razr 5G really does look like a flip phone. The Flip 3 is a tall S21 that can fold. I believe the Razr 5G will be the last to look like a RAZR. The V3 series. The RAZR2 V8 and V9 lacked the chin like this 2022 model has. I don't believe Motorola really believes in the Razr line any more. Motorola knows they'll always get outclassed by Samsung. Razr 2022 could be the last Razr we'll ever see. Samsung looks to dominate with the Flip & Fold series for years to come. Motorola is just another also-ran in the foldable space like the Panasonic 3DO and Atari Jaguar was in the early-5th gen. Razr 2022 feels more like a Lenovo phone than a Motorola. Has more DNA from Lenovo. It's being called Razr by name only. But it's pedigree comes mostly from Lenovo with its Chinese copycat traits copying the Flip 3 & 4 designs more than looking like the RAZR V3 series, 2019, and 5G. I still want it to succeed because we'll be stuck with just the Flip series in America if it doesn't and competition makes things more exciting.
The first generation was their best design. The chin is going away and now it’s just going to look like a cheap foldable. I think this should’ve went on the market at $650 and it would’ve sold like hot cakes. Their audience for this phone at the time was buying iPhone XRs with US carrier discounts and getting them for like $400. They weren’t going to jump to Android for $1,300
I wish people would stop using Samsung's proprietary language to describe their so-called " ultra thin glass." It scratches at a level two with deeper grooves at a level 3 on the moe's scale of hardness. It scratches exactly like plastic. It's just marketing. At best it's a hybrid of plastic and some glass particles, but it is for all practical purposes, plastic. And yet it seems every single YouTuber, even Mr. Mobile, is giving Samsung this nonsense advertising benefit by pretending it's made of glass.
I wish the older one with the nicer back had support for regular sim cards and worked on tmobile
5:31 Motorola beats Apple again by 2 years.
They should remake side kick
Is that the 5G
This phone uses the same Moto Z3(in 2018) desktop. Motorola copycat themselves...lol. Pause @ 1:25.
1:34 On Repeat
Hi,please your red sky background is a theme or background photo? my motorola doesn't have it, I can not find it , I have android 11 🤷🏻‍♂️ ,please what is its name? it looks great, thanks
Is the review ever coming out?
When you're a woman and fashion determines that you either have no pockets or the smallest shortest pockets, you need a phone that can be this compact. The challenge is when you toss it into a big tote bag....then it becomes the fellowship of the RAZR 😩
I see nokia 3310
1:36 best part
I want that phone
Hey bruh can you leave that phone unfold in your pocket
How on Earth are you using dark theme but still have a white Google search bar and white notifications? That's sick! 😱👌🏾
Bring back small phones! While phonemakers twiddle their thumbs with that, I'm good with this form factor.
Do not buy this phone as the screen peels off within 2 months of use, don’t waste your money, see the reviews as it is all over the internet about the screen issues, would suggest don’t buy as it completely crap. I have bought it and it has been replaced by Motorola twice but still the issues persist
Like the asymmetric design. Makes it a no brainer finding front and bottom when taking out of your pocket. Lifting screen at hinge makes cleaning easier.
I just want a ´NAKED´ Motorola RAZR 5G. Just the phone and optional charger! Boombox cradle, storage pouch, headset, adapter, big 1 time box with air and obsolete printed cards. That just isn´t done anymore in 2021. No need for SD and SIM slot, prefer some more battery life. Storage is no longer needed with 5G and cloud, neither SIM with eSIM. App related lower resolution and refresh rate as in practice it is not even visible for most applications. Only for pictures, videos or games. Of which last ones will hardly be done by many and hardcore mobile gamers will look away from movable screen anyway. Probably the best feature of RAZR 5G is that many functions and apps can be used without opening the phone (for every message), and activating power consuming screen. I would even consider black/white mode on external screen to save power. Just make it cheaper.and more competitive. Overall a well balanced phone. And if it´s not matching the big powerhouses? No problem, it isn´t meant for that in daily use. Ah, and it is only a matter of time before we will see a slim additional piggy back battery. Though it is strange it´s not findable yet. As sadly there is no wireless charging.
Just got this phone for $400. Thank goodness for depreciation
1 year later, now £399 in the UK, probably not a big seller due to the price.
it starts squeaking after a while.
I have the gold one, I did have the Samsung fold and it was crap.
Fuuu
I do love the design....but its too expensive for low battery😵☹😢💔💔💔💔
400 quid now lol
2021 update: Phone is on ebay and other resale websites for around 450-800 depending on the deal.
Price drop - down to £399 in the UK (26-02-2021)
I would love to get it as a new phone but after constant bending, does the screen get a bit weird at the bending point?
WARNING!! If you're a pubg pro player, do not buy this phone.. it's very uncomfortable to play pubg using 4 finger claw bcos of the thick edge.. I'm regretting buying it..
Its only available on EE in the uk and Verizon in the US and it only uses an e-sim SMH
When is your new crime book coming out?
Just remember folks these guys don't own this phone so they can say what they want about it, the reviews are alot better when you actually own it
Yeah I love it I bought one should ship soon I know it is not as good as the new Samsung flip but I just like Motorola phones.
I remember my favorite flip phone was the MOTORAZR2 V9.... I absolutely loved that phone
So ‘One week later’ you did the unboxing. Poor you.
Behind phone design look so ugly
Esim only.... That's the biggest downer
No matter how the phone has performed, it is great to see that a company has done something no one else has tried and started the concept of a flip smartphone. It will take time to work out the problems that this idea will have, but I praise Motorola for trying something different. The next generation of anything starts from one idea.
The screen got damaged after a month! Quality does not match the price! Warning 🤔👎
1500$
Umm... 😐😑😐 😒😒 Yeeeeaaah! No! It’s not worth the price. 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️
An important thing i forgot to mention: this phone does NOT have a physical sim slot. So there is no way to put a sim into the phone. It only works on e-sim.
Just got one new in box unopend 200. This the sickest phone ever
This is very surprising. I expected this to be a bad quality, badly edited video but i was pleasantly surprised! I hope you get more subscribers, we need more foldable smartphone reviews!
cool video
