If you think the colorful back is ugly you're objectively wrong (ok not really and there are different options but I like it for some reason) If you're into gaming phones, this is one of the best deals out there- and even if you're not, I do think it could be a tempting choice for a certain type of "power" user. It's flawed, especially in software, but for $630 there's no questioning the value.

Red Magic is a huge liability as it's not water resistant - if you need to repair it because of that, you'll have to pay more than its original cost (!). They don't have physical stores or local support which means any repair will be done abroad (with shipping costs being charged to you), and any peripherals you want to buy will also come with a shipment surplus, so it's just a money sucking machine. Just to give you an idea, my RM 6 pro (top specs) lightly touched some water which got into the charging port (so it's not like it was submerged) and because that's not covered by the warranty I had to send it abroad for repair. They said all data in there is lost (an sd card slot would have been useful here) and they are asking for roughly 120% its original price to repair it. Obviously I'm not paying that to repair a phone that is no longer their latest generation. I'd be paying more than double for a soon-to-be obsolete device with not even any emotional attachment since all data is gone. Gaming phones are a huge risk because they're not water resistant, but Red Magic really takes the cake. Any suggestions on a high-end cool smartphone I can use for gaming that's water resistant and has good customer support?
Your capturing skills need improvement. Its always not abot how much Mp your camera holds. Its about how u get better picture from resources u had .
Seriously considering this phone over the S21 series because of headphone jack and power.
Normally I get a black or silver phone. So when I saw the pulsar I was like "I WanT It" because it looks so pretty and Unique. I COULD have gotten the transparent back one for $70 more and I feel like I should have done that but I am okay with the colorful one when it gets here. •^•
It's unfortunate that the transparent version looks so great because it's going to have to be covered up with a case. Not to mention those really cool fans are gonna suck up a ton of dust and water with everyday use. 165hz screen refresh is functionally useless as you'll only get to use it in your app dock. Literally nothing supports it. I really wanted this phone but it feels like you'd be better off getting a Oneplus 9 pro or Mi 11 for the same-ish price. WQHD screens, higher NITS, Their benchmark scores are within a reasonable range and they more than handle any games out on the phone right now. You'll also have a better chance of getting global updates.

If you stream games late at night almost no lag on red magic 6 mobile data. I use tmobile. Planning on getting this next week. Really excited. This year's models outclass Asus ROG. Idk about specs though. Asus ROG is notorious in this department. This phone will be good for years. Get better back protection. Took my phone out without the standard case and the back got DESTROYED falling off my lap while I was getting out of my car. I tried peeking off a little but it exposed the back stuff. I used duct tape for the time being but if someone knows how to or direct to a video where I can switch out the back cover I would appreciate it. I'm still getting the transparent but I mm going to be EXTREMELY careful. Thim

Wow.. 12GB RAM.. So has my almost 3year old Note 10+..🤷‍♂️ No big deal. 165Hz etc is just unnescecary on a phone anyway. Rather have more battery life and variable refreshrate with a lower max Hz.
