I brought my A13 from a retail shop called Argos sim free in the UK for £230 few days ago. My phone contract company wanted me to pay more for my contract if I wanted a new phone; I said no way. They wanted £35 to £45 per month for a new contract. The A13 is good phone for the money. I still prefer my Samsung A40 which lasted four years..

I find reviews like this annoying. Basically you might as well say buy a s22.. A key feature Samsung has is their Smart switch app. It makes it mostly stress free to change phones. I have a s10 plus but if it breaks most likely I would get a phone like this as I can't afford flag ship phones. This phone will do what you need if you update it and adjust the settings

Had this phone for about a month after losing my iPhone 12 and like it a lot for the price. Its pretty quick, large enough, sound is nice and yeah I'd recommend!!

samsungs have the longest lasting batteries. apple has the shortest lasting batteries.
For the money you really cant complain, but if you are looking for top features like camera, processor speeds, wireless charging, go for a higher end phone. My s9+ was damaged in the ocean and I didnt feel like spending a ton of money so I bought this phone. It does compare, but the camera is better on the s9+

I have the phone but in the 4/64gb variant and its very reliable in any way.
It's quick and responsive and so 8s the side mounted fingerprint scanner!
The battery life is really good too.
Lasts me without gaming which it also is pretty decent at around 6 hours from 100 to 60%!
Thanks to 15w fast charging it's full in an hour again.
And it actually does have nfc!!
And why you even mention wireless charging at this pride point?

And I'm not fanboying here for Samsung I just say how my experience is with this smartphone overall and it is really good for the price.

Good camera, fast charging, very cheap and has everything you need. It does lag occasionally but that's quite fine.

Black colour is the best for this phone. It's not fully black, but it's between black and gray. And it shines too

If you want a better specced phone for the money, I would reccommend looking away from Samsung, and going for a xiaomi, an oppo etc. The market is completely different, and phones are better value for money as a result. I paid £189 for a redmi note 11 pro with Helio G96, 120Hz, 5000MaH, 67W fast charging, 2400x1080 AMOLED screen. Its still in the post right now, but it looks better than the A13 on paper.

Getting this on a very cheap deal and will just be a backup phone (helpful as I change to a new number) but based on reviews I'm expecting an experience like I had a few years back with a very cheap Nokia. Typing was near impossible. So a tip for cheaper phones: show the typing (and other responsiveness-related) speeds in your reviews.

8:30 At least one tech person out there who understands that some people don't need much, or whether the phone s curved or flat. Good battery life, internal storage higher than 60GB and decent camera, with YouTube, Spotify and all google apps is good for me! Despite I can buy expensive phones, I just don't need to.😄

Just one add: I think I bought a newer version / upgrade of it and has 1440p screen! And it doesn't lag at all. As for the fingerprint sensor, I noticed that it isn't slow! It's just a double tap model sensor! That's because it is on the very thin button and as it reads a very thin slice of our finger it needs more samples of it to compare for the fingerprint! So simple. Just ALWAYS tap twice on it and there you go!

A crazy nut Samsung product! Wifi failed to detect any router devices, I reset network settings and reset all settings and still it couldn’t fix it, then I need to delete all data and software, then it fully restore all the things like it’s brand new from a box. What happened if the user chose not to setup Wifi after starting the brand new phone for the first time, then reset all settings including network setting couldn’t fix it! This is so time wasting because many buyers had to bring the phone back to the store for a refund or switch to another new unopened box! What the user need to get it fixed is to delete data and softwares! I mean if the phone had never been connected to the Wifi before, then why delete all data and softwares? Bye bye Samsung!

Really disappointed... I have to turn the mobile data on and off in my apartment because it just seems to lose connectivity which I didn't have issues when using my older model Motorola LTE phone. And in regards to pictures? Horrible. Blurry graining and zooming in on anything?! FORGET IT. So upset I wasted my upgrade on this.

I bought this phone to use after my flip 4 and fold 3 kicked the bucket while on vacation. I also have an a53 5g, but it's locked to another carrier, so I don't use it daily. It's not as fast as any of the phones I mentioned. It is laggy or slow to start apps and services that I am used to being instant.
The fingerprint reader is a good option, but it's finicky. But it's better than any onscreen finger print reader
i bought this phone. And was suprised.. i have different processor -Mediatek Helio G80.
It's a great phone. A few things that suck is the 4gb of ram, but i don't game, yet I do multitask and basically do all my tech stuff on my phone, rarely use my laptop.
The 1 silly speaker that I bet is the same across all A series phones lacks any bass at all, it's just simple flat and doesn't get too loud.
Heavy use with the 5000 mah battery will last me a good 24 hours from 100 to 10 percent, and I can go 2 full days on light use. The battery is phenomenal, though my old moto G7 Power had the same 5000 mah battery, and it lasted twice as long. No.beuno.. but it's samsungs software that vampires all batteries..
Idk what the fuss about the pics is. I guess I'm not a photography "pro", but the front face camera is great, I always look the best in zoom meetings.. I will say this, I don't like that you can't zoom in on 50MP camera mode, due to the loss of the macro, stupid move. Otherwise the pics seem fine to me, they aren't pixel quality, but I'm not a photographer so I could care less.
5g capable is a necessity in today's age...4g lte will probably be phased out in the next few years.
The display and refresh at 90 hz is awesome, and for a non flagship phone you do sure feel good using it.
The look is a little Chinsy and cheap, it is made of recycled plastic, but it looks nice compares to some other phones I've seen...
Biggest plus yet is an available option for a. External Sim card, which I threw a U3 128gb in, on top of the phones 128 gb mem, so I'm not worried about needing more memory. Probably my favorite feature that is sadly disappearing. The option for external storage..
.... Also If your on tmobile and don't care about the latest flagship overpriced phone, and just want a decent smartphone, it's free if you upgrade your plan, and it's worth it imo.
Also comes with McAfee security and three years of updates, as well as Android 12, and 2 years of updates with that (will be offered A13 in the future from what I know).

Well I have the phone now and I have to say I absolutely love it!
The battery holds up to 5 hours on moderate use from 100 to 60% which is really decent.
The fingerprint reader is also very good and reliable!
When you charge it it's an hour from 60 to 100% and that's perfect.
The UI and day to day use experience is also really snappy.
All in all I'm very happy and satisfied with the Samsung galaxy a13 4g!
