I just ordered the S20fe after about 4 years with my old S9+. Support has basically ended now and its suffering from screen burn so its time to move on. I managed to get the S20fe 5G for £500.

I got this phone the week this dropped and this phones like a nokia. Ive face planted the screen on concrete, to it falling off my forklift on multiple occasions , to it sliding down the train station on the back and its like nokia made there own samsung that's drop proof. Although a few occasions i did have a screen protector and a case but majority of the time I didn't and my phone is still waiting for a scratch almost 2 years later

When the phone gets hot phone multi-touch and touchscreen lose it responsiveness and total no touch specially ON half side of the screen near camera where it get so much hot! Rubbish phone!! Samsung release an update about this issue of the screen but still no use its stilll not working!! I've contacted the customer service of samsung they're so useless they will only ask you to hard reset the phone but it doesn't do anything!! I wish i bought this phone on amazon so i could get a full refund i sooooo regret buying this phone! AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS PHONE!!!

It's crap....the alarm is a stupid design. Touch screen issues, also when trying to open a youtube video link from an email...it opens the video in a SUPER Tiny window you can't increase the size...hate the clock format...when the screen goes dark...unlike other phones you can still see the time. You have to open the phone by touching the power button to check the time...friggin stupid!!...time shows up in top left in small numbers...no fixing that unless you want to change the font size for the entire phone...why the hell do people like this POS??...bots by Samsung to promote this crap phone??
My first smart phone was the Galaxy S. Loved it. The S3 was great. The S5 was state of the art wonderful. I loved my S7 and until I dropped and broke my S10 it was the best phone ever made in my view. Now I have a Galaxy s20FE 5G. Its a piece of junk. I have had it 3 days and I hate it. I am about to use the hammer to smash it before I go by another manufacturer's phone for the first time.

Funny as in UK the 5G woth snapdragon is better than the actual s20 series. Battery is awesome., flat screen, no glass back but till wireless charging. Top.

Question about the section on the battery: were you trying to suggest that the phone can stay powered while gaming for 110 to 118 hours? Without being charged? Like that would be amazing but that sounds a little overdramatic.
I'm thinking of either getting the S20 FE or the Iphone12. Haven't used iPhone in years but I'm tired of my glitching, slow, and fast dying S9. Any recommendations?

Thank you so much for the review. I was on your site comparing the S20 FE to the Samsung Galaxy A53.. I don't know all the technical stuff but for the most part they look pretty similar in specs. I have to wonder why the S20 is $699 and the 2 yr newer A53 is $450. Looking to buy one of these very soon.

Is the app integration good? Like is the camera on Snapchat or Instagram the same quality as the normal camera in the phone?
The best feature I like to is to expand memory. The newer model doesn't have that. And just for the extra 128 GB, they cost 150 EUR extra. It seems they are continuing Apple's practice.
This phone is TERRIBLE. My battery drops to 1 % even after being 9 after being plugged into wall. Do not buy this phone. You will kick yourself. I'm using really old I phone and that's more reliable I got the second 20 on bill pay and so angry. I thought it was a bad handset but it isn't as this is the second it's a paperweight not a working phone and I live in a rough city.
Fun fact: This video's title is damn confusing, because the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G variant got re-released as the S20 FE 2022. Seriously Samsung, do you really have to stoop this low to make more money?

The lower price, flagship features and reliability are the reason why i still want to buy this Samsung S20 amazing Fan Edition phone now Unfortunately, devoid of 3.5 mm headphone jack may turn me off once it was launching in 2020. Btw i still kinda like this phone since its way more cheaper now for 2 years old flagship and what does really matter is that there are still software updates and security patch up to more than 2 years if i not mistaken.

The only two things holding me back from saying this is gonna be my next phone are the design and finish. I think the Samsung Galaxy a53 looks and feels more premium for some reason so I'm just gonna leave it up to whichever is cheaper when I decide to buy.

The prices of cell phones these days are just outrageous. What you get is just not worth it when you can get a phone for half the price that is very satisfactory and in the real world , unless you are enthusiatic or a reviewer who gets excited about the latest and greatest and all the bells and whistles and keep comparing one phone with another that is the difference is not as significance in real world use as sometimes implied. sorry, I guess if you did not have somthing to talk about every year you would not have a job, I don't see the point in spending over 300 dollars, if that for a phone. I have a good condition Pixel 4xl for 176 dollars on sale on Amazon, no wide angle, so what. If I want ot take real professional pictures I would not use a cell phone camera anyway. Do you see professional photographers using cell phone cameras! Come on convert the cell phone countries in producing something more useful, besides coming out with the latest and greatest toy every year to give youtubers something to salivate over. If you want an opinion from a user after almost 2 years stay away from it and probably from Samsung in total. After 6 months my S20FE battery wouldnt last evening. After 1.5 year the battery wouldnt last till 12 midday. About the same time the top of screen went dead to touch. Had to use it landscape. Got it sent to Samsung within guarantee. Told me guarantee is not valid coz there is a mark on the back cover. Keep in mind that i had it from first day in silicon case and with screen protector and was in mint condition. Cost for repair 175 euro and cost to just get it back useless15 euro. I m really curious to see what mark they have seen when i get it back. Hope they didnt make one themselves. Make sure you take a foto of it before you sent it for a check. Anyway waste of money . Got a TLC 20R FOR 120 euro and got peace of mind. if i would buy a fone again for the 700+ range only iphone. They replaced my daughters with new coz it was tuning off by itself which was full of marks 10 days before the 2 year guarantee expired
I currently use the Galaxy S8+... I've had it for some time and it has finally started to have a lot of annoying problems. I still think it's a beautiful phone. I bought it new but it was already not the current at the time. I think the 10 was coming out so my wife and I both got the S8+ for 350 each. Now I'm looking for new phones but the 1000 bucks price tags are ridiculous in my mind. Since we need two phones that is a lot of money. As I write this, it looks like the 20 FE is two gens back but that is just fine with me. I was hoping it would be cheaper than what I'm seeing but it also looks like it's a big upgrade from what we have (other than ours has glass all the way around and it feels and looks like a work of art. the newer phones don't look as nice in my opinion). I hope we end up making the right choice.

My s20+ got obliterated falling off my 2nd floor railing. Im just waiting for this s20FE to come in the mail. Seems like a good temporary replacement with most of what I like about my s20+. But im going to miss my bigger phone tho..
