Such a shame it doesn't have the s-pen...
You sound like text to speech.
It's sad to see these phones get larger and larger each year, while we lose more and more physical buttons.
was 2 clicks away from purchase, until 6+ inches came up. When this will end??? how can I do anything with one hand on a phone above 5.5"? It would fall out of my hand 50% of the time whenever I would remove notifications. If I want to work with 2 hands, I use laptop
Galaxy XCover6 Pro has 120ghz screen. !!
SAR value: 1,46!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also the screen can do 120 refresh, and I get to use my batteries from the old Xcover Pro in the new Xcover6 pro
Finally they revived all the features they stole from us after note 4. I can hardly wait to get my hands on one of these. I hope to God there's aftermarket third party extended batteries like zerolemon used to make. I have so many fond memories of going on camping trips with no need for entertainment beyond my phone. So with a removable battery, and 1tb storage capacity, I'll be set.
BS liar, trying to pass off the old Xcover Pro of as the new model. Acting like he has the new model
The best part is removable battery , welcome back retro
never knew this released
When is this coming to America?
Another CriticalTech release featuring the previous model. (XCover 6 has teadrop notch, not punch hole). Well diserved thumbs down from me !
Designed to fail on sales...
How do I hook up my phone (Galaxy XCover PRO) to my PC (Windows 10)? I have found lots of websites that say they have it but I don't know which ones are trustworthy. I plug in my phone to my computer USB and it says it doesn't have the MTP driver, so I am definitely missing the driver.
Important update on XCover Key at 06:50
You can choose any app you want for the XCover Key just like a top key in my video!
At the time of shooting my review, it was true Samsung limited the app selection for the XCover key. (My video is the evidence😂)
They did an update after I shoot my review and you can choose any app for the XCover key.
I got this answer from a Samsung service center and checked I can choose whatever app I want for the XCover key.
Sorry for causing a confusion but I had to make my review based on what I had at the time of filming.
I do 100% Genuine Honest review 😁
Had to laugh so hard when you did the drop test.
Apparently you can replace the front screen yourselve on this phone. There is a video online showing how this is done with relatively simple tools but not sure how you would fix the new screen and who would sell the front screen part on its own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kg-I4Jbhtgc
Thanks for the testing and review. 👍
Hmm. How would the XCover 6 compare to my Galaxy S10? I use my S10 a lot every single day; mostly for YouTube videos and music. I'm worried about the speaker on the XCover 6 as you described it. Are additional cases and screen-protectors available for the XCover 6?
Since this review was done, have you done a firmware update on this phone to latest version? If so have you noticed any improvements / changes on this phone since last review? Does the fingerprint sensor work better now?
From your experience how well do you rate the sound quality on this phone when watching videos, games or listening to music? and the call quality when making and receiving calls? Compared to Samsung S22 is it on par?
why theres only some youtuber review this phone?i think this phone got something that others dont
The lack of samsung hardware support is upsetting. No docking station and different pogo pin placement compared to the xcover fieldpro are a real bummer. I wish it had rubberized sides like the old galaxy active series phones and covered ports like the xcover fieldpro.
Thank you so very much
Good review. How would you charge a spare battery when the other is in use? I couldn't find anything on Samsung website.
Removable battery has me sold.
I like the phone it's nice but I think it's overpriced and can't justify it
Thanks again for the super informative review. Do you think the LED notification light can eat up much battery power?
Thank you for this outstanding review! My previous phone was a Galaxy A51 and the camera had a Macro setting which was very useful in my field of work but it looks like they've done away with it on the Xcover6 pro. Am I missing something? Also, I added a glass screen protector and hope that it will protect the existing screen during hard falls 🤔🤞🏻.
shit phone .... Nokia x30 is more better
As a Galaxy Z Fold4 user, I could see myself getting an xCover Pro as a backup phone someday. The xCover Pro is basically Samsung returning to their roots of what made the Galaxy phones great in the first place. The Galaxy S series in its current state is not good due to Samsung constantly removing features while charging premium prices. If Samsung can bring S-Pen support, better cameras, more RAM, and stereo speakers, than the Galaxy S and A series will be in trouble.
dont care about ruggedness but sd card + headphone jack + removable battery = instant buy
Now that I have the phone I concur the speaker is absolutely bad😄. There's crackling when in using loudspeaker in a call.
Basically it fails at being Xcover and is overpriced for what it is.
im still using my two galaxy note 4's. the last great phone with a removable battery! i just wish the Xcover had a pen and a different name.
altho not perfect.. i will strongly consider buying this phone tho.
I extremely love and support removable battery system because it's very easy to change battery when battery will down after three or four years, love it 💞😍
Thanks for the review. Please can anyone tell me what is the maximum time in seconds that the shutter can be opened for low light and amateur astro photography? Does it support high end camera software with (long) multiple seconds opening the shutter time? Software such as Open Camera or Camera FV-5?
The quality of your videos are magical 🪄🪄 You're going to be so big!
Hello Permission to take some clips from your video, for my video, about cellphone recommendations, and your channel name I will include in the bottom corner of my video, so that you also promote your channel. Thank you
SAR VALUE 1,46 INCREDIBLE!
Looks to be my dad's next phone. Looking forward to the full review. ¦ )
Hello. How does the touch sampling rate input feel like? I mean can you type fast on it? Also it would be nice if you test the two cameras, the single speaker(how can i dance on Disco if the sound is not good enough?) and the microphone(FBI must hear me clearly) . I bealive this is a good all around phone, not only for workers. Thank you. 🙂
Thank you for the review!
I want this, but I have serious concerns about the water-resistance of this phone. The specifications claim that it is rated IP68 (safe in water up to 1.5 meters), however the plastic cover on the back is giving me doubts.
Have you tried submerging the phone in water? No matter how durable the phone is against physical impacts, it's absolutely meaningless if it's not truly water-resistant. The selling point of a "rugged" phone is that it should be able to handle rough conditions including water, snow, rain, etc.
This kills the iphone 14
Thank you so much for this first impression's video. I'm really looking forward to your full review!
I suppose you can always fill it up to the brim with apps and data to test how sluggish it gets? :)
Also, please let us know how customizable (software-wise) those two extra buttons really are!
Definitely subscribed—what an underrated channel.
Best of luck; 도와 주셔서 감사합니다 S.K. Tech님!
Does the phone do split view? Like watching YouTube and browsing Reddit
Is there an external battery charger like the LG v20
Nice video. I read that the fingerprint scanner sometimes not so good. Can you test this?
And how easily fit in your pocket?
How much sir?
👏👏👏 Today! I've got this phone from my company , and I'm so surprised that there is no YouTube review on this phone🤔 actually you are the first one 🥳
Few my thoughts: that water protection around battery is actually very good -my last phone which Was first version of Xcover I immersed in bucket full of water for... 5 hours and phone Was still working. Later I removed that cover, battery and simcard, and again immersed phone in buckett of water for 5hours . Phone still working. Later on last week I smashed that phone onto brick wall and finally it smashed to pieces.... Why did I abuse this phone?? Because of how slow and slugish it works. We have now about 5 apps that we have to work on... job notes, field maps, field works ( pictures, notes, reports, everything) plus Google maps, truck check ( 95 check points and more pictuers )
Differently app for map ( not google map, it's like a land maps for networks) and my company charge us if we loose the phone, but not if it breaks down 🤣🤣🤣 so I had to make something up.... But it Was too muc. that smashing to pieces got all my patience and I told them if they give me the same phone I will smash it again. They gave me Xcover6pro 🤔🤔🤔 looks like a good one
Anyway many thanks!
My question- is this any faster than it's predecessor???
And can you immerse this phone in water for 5 hours? 🤣🤣🤣
looking forward to the review! im on the previous gen xCover Pro and am wanting to upgrade when It gets to the US. I love the swappable battery, if this device didnt have a hotswap battery, I wouldnt be interested
Das Gerät hat einen abenteuerlichen SAR Wert: 1,46!!!!! Jetzt bin ich besitze eine Strahlenschleuder.... 🙂
Pls include the camera review as I heard it doesn't come with OIS. Thanks
Looking forward for the review. It is strange that this phone is not yet reviewed properly by any of the "famous" youtubers. You are not a YT star yet, but you can be the first to do a proper review of the phone. It is an interesting case this phone, really. Considering the hardware and the price.
I wanted to buy it because I've been a rugged phone user for the last (almost) 10 years. But no, I just couldn't pay this price of around $500. Instead I just bought the A52s which is with basically the same and even better considering the hardware specs. Both phones have the same RAM and Snapdragon, but the A52s has better battery, display and size. It is not rugged, I know, but it is IP 67 and it is $200 cheaper than the xCover 6. I hope I made the right choice.
Looking forward for the review and maybe even a slight live benchmark-comparison hardware wise between the xCover 6 and A52s. I am curious to know if they overclocked the Snapdragon for the xCover 6 or it is working the same way as in the A52s. As Samsung did underclocked the Exynos in A33 compared to A53.
I'm in love.
An amazing piece of tech. I wish it had stylus/s-pen compatibility.
I have the xcover5. Is the battery same for both?
SAR value 1,46!!!!

I’ll go from my iPhone to this if it releases in the US.
Sehr hilfreiches video man sieht alles was man sehen will samt punkte aus den Einstellungen würde es gehen würde ich zwei daumen hoch geben
