I had this phone and the gylde! THE GYLDE IS THE MOST HORRIBLE PHONE IN THE WORLD SAMSUNG SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR CREATING SUCH A HORRIBLE PHONE!!!! JUST TERRIBLE!!!!
sync the songs using windows media player its super easy then go to windows media player on your cell click menu on the right hand corner then library then choose storage card

i have the glyde. it sucks. the touchscreen is horrible. sometimes when you touch, say, the bottom left corner, it will press the button on the top right corner. very frustrating. i'm looking into getting this phone.
i have the samsung glyde... it is awful i have to get another one... the glyde's touch screen is always spazzing and like its super annoying-____- i dont know about this phone thoughh xP

As of November 2008 a data plan is required for all Verizon PDA/smartphones, including this one. Apparently, even if you don't have a data plan, the lowest priced data plan will be added to your account automatically when you activate the phone. I was able to get this requirement waived, your results may vary.
It is still for sale, but not for too much longer. I just ordered mine from Verizon a few days ago.
It won't cost you extra to move over to the new phone. If you buy it through Verizon though, you may be eligible for contract pricing. That gets you the 2-year contract price on a new phone instead of spending full price. You don't need a more expensive plan unless you want the added data features to work. Wifi doesn't cost extra if you use a free wifi source.

Yes it will, but they don't officially support it. You might call in to have it activated and one customer service agent say sorry we can't activate that phone. If they do say thank you, hang up, call back again until you get one who will activate for you. Or you can use any of the online dealers who will activate it for you.
Will an iPhone 4 from Verizon work with PP?
Very thorough. If you have wifi at home and at work, all you need is a cheap prepaid phone for calls, and a smartphone (not activated) for emails and web browsing. Been doing this a few years now but if I can find a carrier that burns minutes to fuel my occasional need to answer a call while driving or GPS me to a better route, I would have one smartphone and no dumb phone to keep charged up and carry with. Everyone has a unique life style, but what to do with almost 3000 unused minutes?
Since your balance is only .01 you don't have anything to worry about. Its not going to charge you any extra.

It is possible that an app is leaking data when you are not on wifi. There is an app called Onavo that counts data for you, and lets you know specifically which app is using how much data. If you know you haven't used the data you can call into PagePlus and complain.

You couldn't use an Apple factory unlocked Iphone 5 on Verizon. It does not work on CDMA networks.
