A warning to everyone: I bought this phone, brand new, and it is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to open the back, to get inside and install the battery! NOTHING will pry this open, it is as it were GLUED SHUT

bought that phone 3 days ago and dannng what a good cheap phone i can even play call of duty hahaha.
Got this at Walmart for 25 bucks to use on U.S. Cellular. Few weeks after got approved for a free Govt cell sim card (u.s. cellular service in my area was far from impressive) and I'd heard a rumor these were unlocked. Popped the Qlink Wireless sim in and sure enough it updated the apn and everything works. What a value! Sadly not seeing to many cases available for this device though. Greatly recommend!

I'm considering buying this phone to replace my old Galaxy Grand Prime. (Yeah.) Honestly, for 99 bucks, and unlocked, it doesn't look bad. Everything is an upgrade where i'm coming from. I watched closely how the screen reacted to you swiping, and the camera looked smooth. Kind of curious how the back comes off to insert the sim card , i can't seem to find a tear down video anywhere. But i might pull the trigger on this one

I got this phone and I'm not too happy with it. The alarm clock never goes off and also every time I call someone the phone will vibrate when they answer. I have looked and looked and I have found no way to turn this feature off. Does anybody know how to stop it from vibrating when someone answers your call?
For me this phone is not that slow, I haven't had any issues besides the camera being slow to open. Compared to the a30 which had a better processer this phone feels faster
I got this phone just for temporary use on door dash deliveries and it has been a nightmare! really makes you appreciate the things you already have! I am gratful it is compatible but its just been so hard. The main issue i have is the speed it is the slowest ive ever dealt with
A downgrade from the TCL A30 it had the P22 which is a better processor. Was also 32 gb internal storage. The system only took up 9.3 gb .The A30 has 147/799 Geekbench scores. Will just keep my A30 or buy a new one and see if TCL really gives a upgrade next year on the 30Z follow up phone.

I agree .. this phone isn’t a even beginner ..if your backed up on Verizon bill or whom ever your carrier maybe and your behind and you need a super cheap phone .. then this is the phone .. basic just for receiving calls. Little business calls that all .. I have an iPhone 12 .. there is no comparison.. Like I said bad times ..
5G phones not working on samsung laptop . Hot spot on Non 5G smartphones work on laptop.

Naw this phone sucks, can't even watch a full video on Facebook. Some apps you gotta use wifi. Slow loading. The brightness dims down on its own even wit the auto brightness off. The battery died fast. Phone not worth it.
I paid $188.00 for this stupid TCL 30 Z at Cricket.! I had no idea I had been screwed. I can't take it back because it's been past the 7 day return. Who do I make a complaint too? I should have just paid around $40.00!

TCL went along with its own stand alone Text Messaging App instead of using Googles Google Messages App which comes standard with all newer Android Phones
There's literally a new android phone coming out like every 10 mins 😂 but overall you get what you pay for if your going real cheap in price

I have a unlocked TCL 30 XL and it's one of the few phones that will work with Cricket Wireless.
TCL makes quite a variety of TCL 30's..... I have the Verizon TCL 30 V.... With Verizon's Mm Wave.... & It's a really good phone.... & Tmobiles version the TCL 30 XE 5g is a lesser phone then the Verizon's but still gets good reviews.... While this model is way too basic but having a removable battery is cool.....
This phone is impressive in general. If you're on a tight budget for a smartphone, the TCL 30Z is a great option.
I remember on Android pie 🥧 they had removable batteries for phones I remember the HTC desire had that removable battery I do miss those days but technology overtime this keeps growing.
Now if you have kids this will be a good purchase for them but you don't want to spend over $2,000 for a cell phone on a kid that's pretty expensive but get them a low end device like this one it will be a great. Someone like me and I won't be a good device Motorola G stylus 2021 has done great for me so far and that TCL stylus that makes up for it for this phone cuz that's a mid-range phone.
So it's actually a new old phone. Good for kids or older people. It's nice that you didn't say junk. You probably can't say that word when it was given to you from the company.
