I've had this phone for only 4 months. Woke up last week, won't charge or turn on, makes it to the logo and that's it. I've tried everything I have found on YouTube, nothing. Now dealing with the headache of going with back and forth with ebay seller for replacement or money back. These phones have this problem with no fix from Umidigi. Be careful...

The camera is adequate. I have the F1 Play and its really good. The software is good almost stock Android. BTW, does it have dual app support? Nice video. More power to you.

👍 your hardware observation. One good camera preferable to the multi-nonsense so many do now. Thanks for reviewing call quality, many reviewers omit this. I have the Power3, very snappy all around and has been a great performer for 16 months now just the typical sound issues and call GUI blanking but reset fixed that. Noticed UMI updating more frequently lately, another 👍 improvement. Great review btw
Stay away from Umidigi phones, I had mine for only 4 months. All of a sudden it will not pass the logo screen and the battery icon shows it dead. I have never let this phone die on me. I have done everything that I found on YouTube, nothing works. Now I'm trying to get my money back or replacement from the ebay seller, and he's stopped answering. I'm filing a complaint with ebay itself. Bottom line, all these phones have the same problem, garbage, do not get it.

Last umidigi X, and S8pro I bought was bad speaker and WiFi disconnect issues (Wi-fi I believe is a router and Google stock software issue because same happens on other Google software).

This is probably going to sound like a real dumbass question but is it possible to remove the Google apps by uninstalling them without having to root the phone? ie operate the phone without any google apps that can track you and your info, instead getting apps from F-Droid instead?

One massive design oversight Umidigi made is putting the shortcut key on the opposite side of the other buttons. With flat edges alike the Essential Phone you could set it in landscape on a desk for watching Youtube, but, with the shortcut key in the way you wouldn't be able to do that. It's one of those things that keeps me from moving on from my Essential PH-1
Well its not $100 phone with Amazon its cost $199, still a good buy. Just like my old Huawei mate 20 lite, never heard of that Huawei brand before I bought it it work and did its basic thing. I'm willing to try this other the Umidigi brand also have never heard either but after watching your video reviewing this phone. I'm convince to give it a try and buy it. I'm hoping this one will give me better pictures, video, a bold better keyboard, easy to get familiar with it. What I like about it is the technology except Id prefer a snap dragon processor, the processor in this phone is descent ,the side finger recognition is a nice feature for 2021 phone's over all this phone rivals other that cost 10x more. I think I 'm getting a great deal. Lets give this phone a try!

The pro version is good too. I like the battery section and the mediatek processor in it.
Umidigi make great phones but sadly they don't up date them regularly and it's not easy to root and install custom roms either because of media tek. But if you don't care about security by all means buy their phones.

I just got the A11S the other day and I like it but can't get the data to work with only 1 SIM.
I srsly love the fact that they made the phone have an iPhone 12 edge but to make the phone look more expensive than it is the front camera should also be like that of iPhone 12 and not the top notch pls tell the company abt that am a big fan of that front camera

Nice review Kevin. UMIDIGI new box and new logo looks a bit chintzy to me. The black box embossed with the logo were more premium in appearance. Why the backwards steps with specs…chip shortage? Words on back…eehhhh. I have two, Power & Power3, both still work, P3 better all around except for sound issues, both fast with better displays. Current trend seems like backwards progress. Never have had a major update for either of those UMI
