It's just like an Android phone from 10 years ago ! Great size though, I think my next phone is going to be this kind of size as I'm sick of not being able to sit down without removing an enormous phone from my pocket.
You talk and talk but still don't find it worth mentioning that you can connect a fx notebook, also for 3G/4G internet access, such that you can save yourself all the 'smartphone' functions (which certain users are simply not interested in, if they can contiue to use their notebook instead). Or could it be you're not even aware of it, american-indoctrinated-to-zombie-status as you seem to be? Use your own brain man, instead of acting like a lemming for the american robots. Don't you see they (ab)use people like you for their obscure agenda?

I pay for 2 lines so I can use this when I don’t wanna carry my phone with me. The phone is actually very fast and runs a lot of things you wouldn’t expect it too. ALWAYS leave it in battery saving mode and you will add hours to your standby time. Also I recommend buying a spare battery so you can have 1 charged and swap em when you need it.

I know, it's an older review and commenting just now just seems like I'm a f***ing retard but after having used some Nokia dumb phones and not finding them good enough as back-up phones I'm thinking of having this little fella (certainly as the price has now dropped to around €190 in Europe). Reminds me a bit of the old samsung and lg dumb touch phones such as the Cookie and the Star.

There is something wrong with recommending something as a secondary phone because it does not deliver as a primary phone. People have criteria according to which they use something. There may be times you want a and times you want b but buy b which is not delivering in case a fails. Are such people also buying a not-quite-for-them secondary microwave and backpack and car in case the primary one what... fails? No space in your pocket/bag for the bigger phone today? If there is any opinion on what a primary/secondary phone division might offer, it would be useful to define it.

I got the Jelly 2 around the time it came out and now I'm patiently waiting for the 3rd. The phone is actually not bad if I'm being honest. I use it as a secondary device or to use in case of emergency.

How much and where I get it
16 mo and 8mp is great for it's size and compare it to the phones of yesterday, this is amazing. Although I should look at the pixel density to really say. Compared to today's phones, it's a very comprable experience from what I'm seeing on your photos and videos.

It's awesome that you used this phone on a trial run and gave all the inside feedback! Useful to folks who are interested in the phone. Just to note: you can change the size of the font. And also get apps that can allow further customization of the font size. :) I might have missed it but: this phone has a fingerprint unlock option AND a face recognition unlock option.
Imagine using the Nova Launcher on this phone and you have 7 icons in one row on your home screen. I did and it works!! Leave away the text and you can start the most important apps with just one hand and you can also put some shortcuts to the red button (flash light, camera, ..)

Great review. I hope you are able to partner with Unihertz. I have the Jelly Pro (Jelly 1) and I have the Unihertz Titan Pocket, I’ve been eyeing the Jelly 2 since it was announced but I still have not got it yet. For when you are going to the gym, I don’t know if T-Mobile lets you do it (I don’t see what not), other providers let you do it, to get a E-Sim card which is a copy of your SIM card. I don’t know if you have to carry your Note 10 with the original SIM and leave it in your locker while you workout listening to music on your Jelly 2, or if you could just leave your Samsung phone at home and use the Jelly 2 without a problem, that’s something you have to ask T-Mobile. Anyhow thanks again for the review, it helps those people who want to carry their phones in their coin pocket. The Unihertz Jelly 2 would be ideal for women’s pants pockets who don’t like carrying a purse to carry their gigantic 6 inch screen phones, or anyone who would like to minimize their phone usage without getting a Light Phone 2 which is $100 more and much less smart features on the go! 😃
dont switch out sim.. most phonecompanies will exchange your sim for dual sim... 2 identical sims.. so you switch on phone and use the one thats on.. no more taking out sim
i have 2 mini smartphones both 2.5 inch... problem with both is and with all of them.. so much tevh in such small volume leaves only small battery space.. they dont last a whole day
