Sorry its important I forgot to tell you, that because I buy my self the rugged phones that I am testing, the particular Ultra was used, but still, it should have been waterproof. Thank you
I test yesterday the famous KYOCERA ULTRA in water and unfortunately water has entered inside.And now its on the Sun drying.... How is going to be waterproof with such a huge GAP in sim card insertion hole?? How?? And the headphones flip cover has no silicone or what ever rubber O ring gasket. This is the truth fact. Thank you

I have a older version of this. Actually am typing on it. 2 accidents resulted in cracks out of thousands of drops. One drop was about 10 ft onto gravel. Both accidents were from sharp, pointy, rather long rocks. And hit in a specific angle. only gripe I had was the walkie talkie feature wasn't as easy as Nextel's were.
Ok so would pay a premium for a sapphire screen, like $300 extra premium, though I don't know how much the Sapphire screens cost. Imagine not needing a screen protector as dirt, rocks and keys can't scratch the 9H sapphire.
Yeah except I've only had mine for about 4 months before I cracked the screen and the glass covering the cameras.
